Invested here on friday, have been steadily in most of the renewable infrastructure stocks over the last two weeks. All are ridiculously oversold in my opinion and hold real capital growth potential when interest rates start to come down ( hopefully in June). If they get back towards current NAVs that will be a start! In the meantime great yields to enjoy, mostly well covered.
HoofHearted. I think It would be better to be less specific on timescales( knowing how long things always seem to take, slowest cog in the wheel etc) and instead of saying results due early next week( which I am sure Jason genuinely believes at the time) use phrases like due shortly or ASAP to keep investor expectations reasonable. Jason has delivered a tremendous amount in a short space of time and I can imagine how frustrating it must be for him too when things dont move as fast as he expects.....he just needs to factor that in. GLA.
Hi Hoof, my point is that the market will respond positively once revenue, profits ,cash flow and dividends are actualy occuring for all to see in black and white ( so to speak). At the moment its all in the near future and a lot of people will only believe it when they see it. If revenues etc pan out as planned then the market will value us on the usual metrics P/E ratios, etc just like any other stock. I agree the market and investors want hard figures, I just happen to believe we are on the right path and these things take time.
Marula just needs to keep doing what its been doing.....revenues will steadily increase....profits will grow...free cash flow likewise and then possibly most importantly, dividends can be paid. Then as new investors come on board the share price and market cap will increase opening the door to institutional investors etc with sticky hands and the virtuous circle begins as investors jump in not wanting to miss out. Then its pounds not pence! Rewards come to those with patience.AIMHO.
Rainwhenidie. Well, I have been investing for more than 40 years and I must have been doing something right as I retired at 52 and my wife and I have been living comfortably off our dividends ever since. I daresay not as successful as you of course, but I'll struggle on!
I invested in Marula because they have a happy knack of finding projects with stuff in the ground that is valuable, quick and easy to dig up and sell. I dont want endless studies of one sort or another to investigate gigantic anomalies half way to the center of the earth that may or may not come to fruition by which time I would probably be in an urn in a cupboard in my sons bedroom.I trust the management/backers and their drive and ambition to get things done,we are in the right sector at the right time and the macro picture is improving. I am afraid I couldnt care less about the day to day detail, depth and number of drill holes etc etc etc, I will leave that to the experts.......Sorry!
By years end we will all know who has been talking b******s...........I know who my moneys on! Revenue> profits> dividends = Dramatic share price rise. When everythings up and running / more projects etc then yes, pounds not pence in my view in the not too distant future.GLA.
Used to own these 3 or so years ago and sold out at £1.70 ish. Have bought back in this morning (shows as sell at 91.925p) as I feel this will rally strongly, multiplied by the gearing, when the sector recovers on the back of a slow decline in interest rates. Wanted to get in BEFORE the rise and can see this back above £1.30ish within 12 months or so. In the meantime a yield of 8% to enjoy! AIMO.
Bought some more yesterday and again today! It seems to have been a long wait( been here since 2022) but the next few months should be transformative if/ when funding lands as hoped. Share price rise ought to be dramatic with so few in issue.GLA.
I never realised how many sad, bitter, twisted and envious people there are in the world before I started reading these boards. Utterly depressing!
A transformative RNS and day for Marula Mining (and us), the tap has been turned on for a growing revenue stream, profits and the prospect of dividend payments in the near future. The share price should now begin to reflect the scale and breadth of our battery metal projects across eastern and southern africa. Thank you and congratulations to Jason and all the team!
I am always heartened to read all the negative posts, when they seem at their most prevelant then invariably the share price is about to recover with better times ahead. That is why I bought a decent chunk here last week and intend to hold it for the long term whilst enjoying the dividends. Did the same with NESF and SUPR for the reasons mentioned, the worst is behind us,onwards and upwards, roll on 2024,25 and 26!
Could it possibly be that with a rapidly expanding company, Jason is just too busy to take part in group chats.OK when a company starts out but not exactly a priority when it passes a certain stage in its development. I take it as a positive that he has more important matters in hand!( not a critisism of the telegram group, fine for investors but possibly not appropriate for a CEO!) As for the offtake, we should soon find out and then we can all make our own judgement on it.
Thanks for the reply andii. I guess I should take my own advice and be patient!
Hi Andii. I have been pondering the possible starting amount of a first dividend payment at the end of the year perhaps. Taking into account guesstimates of revenue/profits at that time,a sensible yield on the possible share price plus the assumption that the twice yearly payouts will be of equal ammount, I came to the conclusion that 1p per share would be easily affordable. Am I talking b******s ? I actually came up with a higher figure but have curbed my optimism! Would be grateful for your thoughts. Thanking you in advance, Wish.
Andii. I wouldnt give him the pleasure of winding you up. It doesnt matter how many facts and figures you throw at him, he isnt interested. All he wants is to disrupt this board, but if ignored he might just go away! We all know that we are on to a winner here and at the end of the day that is all that matters.
Good steady buying this morning, looking for 20p at least when off take news drops.IMHO.
Rainwhenidie. Now I understand. The cunning plan was to come on here over the weekend, tell us how useless marula is esp.regarding copper of course then tomorrow morning at 8am we all push the sell button and pile into Asiamet resources sending the share price soaring....brilliant!
Rainwhenidie. It is clear to me that you dont have, never have had and never will have any intention to invest here. Your sole intention is to wind up,waste the time of and disrupt posters on this otherwise decent board.Your bluster and attempts to dazzle people with your great intellect are just a smokescreen for your mischief making. What has made you like this is anyones guess.
Rainwhenidie. How many times are you going to post on this board? Why are you here at all? Will I lose the will to live before you stop? Are you always such a pain in the ****? Have you ever heard of QGC? Shall I go on? No, I dont think I will!
