dropped to 33p at 12:15, had me worried !
Whats happened to the share price? looks very dramatic on Google.
I still hold over a million shares, did have a lot more not so long ago, I've already lost far too much of my pension fund and feel pretty stupid for doing so. I believed in the story, did my homework, from the Fortescue story, to studying each member of the board. I think the current Sirius board should be replaced, they have not been working with the shareholders best interests at heart for some time, if ever. I believe alternative solutions could have been found, maybe still can with a different board. I stand to lose the remaining amount invested, but I am a man of principles unlike Chris Fraser it seems. The shareholders deserve a chance to benefit from the massive profits this mine will one day realise, selling it for half its current value and cutting out the existing shareholders, (for a 20th of it true value) once in production is criminal. Fraser should be ashamed of himself, for not doing what he said he could, or at least trying his best. Bailing out looking after himself is showing his true colours. However I accept that administration is likely if we vote no, but still find myself compelled to do so.
So there you go, another stupid investor, believing in this country’s ability to better its self, supporting the Northeast’s business opportunities, and hoping to have improved my Pension, provide much needed Jobs and help the country to become once again self-sufficient in its industries including its ability to feed its self without relying on Euro land or beyond.
Make your own decisions, do your own research, and stick to your principles, even if it hurts. Probably make me poorer, but at least I can sleep at night knowing I tried and didn’t rip anyone else of too feather my own nest!
google finance is live and free
unfortunate slip trashing on = thrashing on
Perhaps if the weak hands stopped selling, the price would stop falling back, nearly all of us have had plenty of chances to sell at a profit, we chose not to, why on earth do PI's sell at a loss, nothings changed company still trashing on, this financial tight spot was always going to happen. Chill and wait, what will be will be. Here's hoping we will all see a profit again soon.
Just listened to this, very interesting, JT says he travelled over 600,000 miles in 2018. that alone is impressive!
Well as suggested, I emailed Triston today, asking for reassurance and letting him know how concerned i was, been part of this story since Nov 2011. To my surprise he called me 2 hours later. Tristan did his job well, gave me around 5mins of his time, and discussed the situation, without really telling me anything new, however he did remind me of the fantastic progress, the dedication of the team, and the investment nearly all of them in the company. What i took away from the conversation was they will continue to do everything they collectively can to see Sirius succeed.
None of them, particularly CF would want to see existing shareholders wiped out, CF stands to lose his shares, a lot of his own invested cash, along with most of the employees. The Bond markets was very receptive to Sirius (until Trump opened his mouth again), , they confidently believe the bonds can be sold, hopefully in Sept as planned.
So to recap, nothing we don’t already know, full steam ahead, and lets build a mine, so the real value of WoodSmith mine can be realised.
Think it’s time this board and the country as a whole started to back our businesses, rather than trying their upmost to put our country and the efforts of entrepreneurs down, particularly the press!

At least the big boys are reducing shorts, glimmer of hope they think the share price is low enough.

Very informative, with many similarities to our own.
Enjoy
I don't post here much, but do read a fair amount of the posts, particularly yours. Really sorry to hear you have had ‘Sad family matters’ to deal with. I certainly appreciate the posts & detail you provide, finding it invaluable at times.
I remain significantly invested (mostly in Sipps and ISA’s), first bought into Sirius Nov 2011, after successful geology rumours, from friends in the North East. Trading has proved difficult, so now generally hold and continue to grow my holding. Tough watching the value shrink so much, but remain confident the mine will be built and share holders will be rewarded eventually.

Does anyone think shorts will be closing today, hopefully that will help the share price recover.
Do we think the quarterly update will still happen sometime soon?
Inner collar, photos on Sirius website.
Segments could have been heading to Woodsmith for the inner shaft construction?
All very negative, only 12 posts and joined up 24th Oct! I wonder what your intention really is Andrew??
This was my recent buy, just sayin.

Really !! Perhaps read some of the RNS 's, planning in a National park etc.
Hi SooSoo, you can certainly do exactly what you suggest, as I have done a very similar thing.
Opening a SIPP, is pretty straight forwards, I have one with Hargreaves and another with A J Bell.
Once opened you can then request a transfer, the Sipp company can sort this.
Of course wheather or not this is a sensible thing to do, depends very much on you own personal circumstances and atitude to risk.
Sirius is a long term play in my view, 3 to 5 years, ideal for part of a pension plan, probably not all of it though!
Best of luck
Wishful.
