Deal most likely agreed.
Will finalise in the next few weeks
Will give the market the details shortly. Then the re rate will begin.
A small straight forward JV would not take 6months+ to negotiate. An asset sale most likely outcome and possibly a special dividend paid out to shareholders who knows?
Agree with the RvR balance
The longer this goes on, the more likelihood of a deal imo and a significant deal
If the negotiating parties were miles apart in the valuations there would have already been a statement regarding no deal or delay
In the last CC Nick said he was extremely encouraged by the professionalism of Anglo and also that they were taking the counter offer “extremely seriously”
Has priced a no deal…and the MM have collected plenty of shares and continue to do so
Now if NvS completes a deal it will be one hell of a reversal here and a glorious rise like no other
Risk v Reward
No deal - 3p
Deal - 10-20p perhaps even more
Roth advised Morrison’s to reject a 6bn offer, I don’t think they deal in scraps
They want a big deal for Arcm in my opinion
Sentinel mine sold for £200M when copper was 6k a tonne
And Arcm have a bigger deposit with better grades and oh copper is 10k a tonne now
I was in Avacta about 2 years ago, there was an institutional investor selling relentlessly around 15/16p. I thought ‘they must know something I don’t’ and followed suit, selling at 17p
A week later Avacta released news of developing a covid LFT and the price went upto 250p
Topped up here again
Rothschild and co, financial adviser to Morrison’s plc today advised them to reject an approach for takeover of the company
Wow.
The offer that Arc countered was on the advice of Rothschild, I wonder what proposal we they put forward. Incredibly exciting times. I feel all here will be very surprised by the final outcome and price of asset sale.
Rothschild only deal in big transactions
No win no fee
Tick tock
Yes totally agree. I’ve replayed the 6th May CC and feel very bullish.
Nick said “we are pushing for a very attractive deal for our shareholders” and sounded extremely pleased with negotiations thus far. Sounds very unlikely that a deal will not happen - which is what the market is anticipating hence the slide in SP
I will top up in the morning.
Licenses have been re arranged to accommodate the commercial transaction. Arcm have put proposals forward for what they require for a commercial transaction and Anglo are taking these “extremely seriously” in Nicks words.
A few years ago Nick said Arcm was a 10bagger.
Price back then was around 2p
20p deal incoming ?
