Now situation is VERY different and the choice to be stubborn / selfish is out if her hands.

Phulbari Mining will HAVE TO GO AHEAD - No other option and think company know this also.

Price rise is not "HOPE" but clever investors taking positions based on detach view of ECONOMIC REALITY.

What price was few week ago is irrelevant sir. I bought some at that price and some at today's price - it will all look VERY CHEAP when political developments start after the elections. The signs are already ther and not just from political talks but trusted economic metrics / feedback / analysis.

Permission will (almost) certainly be given!

Last time in Dec 2022 update company look to enter RENEWABLE sector but no move in this so no funding Required.

When SunSteppe JV set up then need extra funds with fundraise. Argue this or argue that but this was situation and VERY glad Petro Matad enter this sector at high level contact base - this will be MASSIVE!

What we have now is "fully funded until AT least July 2024". Do not think Petro Matad entering new sector now like Space Travel or something so think we okay but with ubswratanding no one can guarantee anything.

I will say with all MAJOR DEVELOPMENTS happening here expect UPTREND will continue and price will be MUCH higher by July 2024.

Of course if people want to wait on side until then please do - this is your money and your right.

Think lot of people have not even come back to Market yet. Start of January will see strong positioning & BUILD UP to major OPERATIONS, UPDATES, RNSs, FIRST PRODUCTION / REVENUES.

I did accidentally post this on the MATD chat where I have main holding. Again this is because of risk profile v upside which is unbeatable imo.

Back to GCM which I am happy to nave position in but accept different risk profile.

Think all can see all logic suggest Bangladesh Govt have no real choice but to mine Phulbari. We hear about foreign currency situation, default issue and everything else that go with this. All make sense.

Before this we need RNS to clear immediate funding need (RNS 20th Dec). At moment fund is NOT in GCM account.

Do not see this as real problem. Mr Michael Tang is CEO of GCM Resources and also Executive Chairman of Polo Resources but still need this RNS issue to clear. If it is problem then Mr Tang have questions to answer.

I have no.oriblem with anyone also and my main investment by far is in MATD.

BUT

I always analyse investment with INTEL / LOGIC / RESEARCH!

Feelings have no use to me. If someone feel this or think that without rational base then I cannot use that to assess investment.

I understand your point of not able to estimate return which is why I put post up before about this - interesting to see some reasoned figures but think nearly ALL look at VERY VERY HIGH upside if permission come thru.

Now we look at header and in previous post (and others by people like mr Searcher) we begin to see the logic in this.

I do not "bet" - I make STRATEGIC RISK ASSESMENT base on all Intel.

This point to conclusion that permission WILL be given. Foreign currency reserve, debt servicing & payment of ongoing commodity expenditure look like this is inevitable (almost if you like).

I position my holding for this and also expect big price uplift on RNS confirmation of payment transfer in next few days.

Remember Mr Tang position in both companies.

Main conclusion - Petro Matad in very strong position and costs look covered but even if not then with move to REVENUE GENERATION no big problem.

We know with any company we go by RNS as first source of info but financing always can be flexible. If someone say "maybe" I say yes "maybe" but not really how I base investment decision.

We look at MOST IMPORTANT point which is PERMISSION IN PLACE and fast move to REVENUE GENERATION.

This open up alternative funding line including loans and other ways like Petrovis 'soft loan'.

Also when people talk about fund raise in early 2023 they should remember from RNS Dec 5th 2022 Petro Matad were looking at Renewable sector and identification of potential partner.

Decision for SunSteppe JV set up need capital so company raise at time to enter into this sector.

Thus is difference between BB decision making & Company decision making and why BB posters do not run company!

Petro Matad about to TRANSFORM and shareholder on board or not for this.

This is reference to Petro China condition to supply to domestic oil refinery which open up Petro Matad Takeover route (see post

"Petro China Dachim Tamsag" has expressed that it will follow the provisions of the Petroleum Law, which STIPULATES that in the case of construction of a refinery, oil will be SUPPLIED as a PRIORITY"

Note: this is Law, most be follow and guarantee DOMESTIC SUPPLY with Petro China takeover.

I think bid will come soon after Heron operation start but this is strong speculation base on OBVIOUS STRATEGIC ADVANTAGE to Petro China.
