RE: Island Magee funding1 Nov 2021 20:34
Guys, I don’t know why my posts have been spoken about so much today - there’s many more people looking into these boards than just the 6 or 7 regular posters and LTHs - and the majority of information shared daily wouldn’t be understood by a new investor looking in without further DD, so I share to help - sorry if it’s information you already know. I now am going to be long term holder in Harland and Wolff because I see the company is at a major turning point “at the beginning of its growth cycle” in the CEOs words ( from the most recent interview -I can share again for any new investors ;) )
Investing in the markets is my full time job - and Harland and Wolff are clearly at a major turning point and have multiple ways to be valued multiples of the current 32mil going forward.
The first which got ignored by unnecessary messages
As part of the FEED studies, a “P90” cost estimate has been undertaken for delivering the Project determined by probabilistic analysis. P90 values are established to provide a high level of confidence (90% confident) such that the Project outturn cost will have a 90% chance to be below this estimate and a 10% chance above.
The P90 estimate is consistent with the economic modelling undertaken on the Project and therefore InfraStrata proceeds into the next phase of development with a high level of confidence from a technical, cost and economic basis.
The economic modelling undertaken was on a range of cost estimates of £100m – £120m for delivering Phase 1 (2 caverns) and £300m – £330m for Phase 2 (adding an additional 6 caverns, resulting in a total of 8 Caverns).
The combined FEED studies have delivered P90 cost estimates of £114m for Phase 1 and £265m for Phase 2, with an additional risk allowance for a total of £11.6m for both phases.
So I have island Magee funding at 380mil but iv been told by a a credible poster here it’s now 440mil+ - what would everyone’s price prediction be after receiving funding?
Separate to any of the 15 ministry of defence contract currently in tender
The 22 shipbuilding contracts currently in tender.
Or the wind turbine contracts ranging from 30-200million
As the Company moves forward in its discussions with key project investors and stakeholders, announcements relating to the Project's Final Investment Decision (FID) will be made once those negotiations have been completed and a financing package has been formally agreed
There was many other key hints like this last paragraph above thoughout today’s rns - or this one
On the newbuild side, the Company is currently tendering for six newbuilds in the ferry market, two of which are due to be awarded in Q4 2021 and the remaining in 2022. All these projects will be multi-year and could utilise both the Belfast and Appledore yards in tandem, should the Company be successful in winning one or more of these tenders.
Behind these typed words I’m a good and real person, and will be joining for the journey ahead - we
