Yeah we need a source. Same rumour went round last week and wasted everyone a lot of time.
Well done those who braved out the noise over last week. Looks like at 10%+ day
@laidback I can’t see any big buys this morning, have you got times/volume?
Conversely, I think it’s why the price dropped today (the rumours started on inverse.com yday)
Encouragingly the delays are being put down to Tenet needing to run longer into October to capitalise on NY/Cali markets.

...since 7th August at 33p. I’m pretty content with where we are today.
Looking forward to 24th.
MIKODX - yes they are, but unless you are suggesting the cinema market it oversaturated, this just gives us confidence that cinema in general will survive Covid & beyond. Consumer appetite is there, is it was throughout last recession and beyond.
Share price.... no
But business fundamentals and giving confidence to trading conditions for the US cinema market... yes

Fake news this. Only affects social gatherings between households. All businesses remaining open.
From what I can see so far this will not apply to cinemas. But let’s see later tonight.
The gathering limit is currently 30 which is for non-workplace settings. As Cineworld is a workplace and has covid secure procedures it should be ok
Im not sure, but the majority of Cineworld screens are in the states so unlikely to have a significant adverse impact
Nice work Shamus trying to bury this:

@indepth I didn’t say writing off goodwill was the reason, You were the one who raised it as a potential issue. I merely pointed out the fact it rose in spite of this. So that particular argument has been debunked
A week ago you said it would hit 68p by the end of the day. LOLZ
