Jhi holder here,I did have 58,000 Argos shares before they ditched us and now they have been reduced to just under 2,000 Jhi and feel a bit up in the air about the whole thing ,am hoping for a good outcome eventually as this has been a loooong hold since 2010, gla

Pre2rcd-I’ve been on my Halifax account,and all I could find was Export as CSV in relation to my shares ,I don’t know what this means??? thumbs up if you could get any information on what’s happening ,all the best.

No I don’t have any share certificates only what’s with Halifax

This is the sketchy bit,my shares are still sitting with Halifax they pushed me to sell before takeover I didn’t, so do my shares automatically transfer to JHI, and do I pay Halifax to hold them or not if they’re with JHI its pointless paying brokers the annual admin fee ??

If you didn’t sellout,they are now with JHI,I’ve still got mine,and hoping that they come on board at some stage of the game

Could they come on board having taken over Argos territory

Also wondering what to do ,as I have Arg shares with Halifax ,and now you can’t buy and sell do they keep hold of them for x amount a year, or do you withdraw them and bottom draw ?

AGM- shareholders deserve more clarity

Buffit-sorry situation, as regards broker,he was very none committed and pushed for selling asap (surprise surprise) at todays share price and as to what I’ll get back I’m going down the lines of leaving it see what develops just wanted some feedback on how you make money on a Canadian non share investment

Where do we stand if you decide not to sell (for obvious reasons) and your investment is in a Canadian company ,if they decide to drill (big if) how do you make any sort of profit, forgive my asking ,as have never been in this position before, and invested in shares to buy and sell ,sorry if it comes over as desperate,(lost all investment on paper)and my broker is screaming sell before June 6th.

11 years of waiting,and still no progress,quote it may be sometime,what’s another 11years, I have now written these off,and walking away,if Covid has taught me anything life is to short,move on and live your life,the very best of luck all,I sincerely hope it works out in the end,whenever that may be,no pun intended.

Hopefully this time it will happen,re-cyan,I’ve never understood why someone would want to post so much negativity about a share they have no interest in, in,lol.
