Looking forward to Jan/Feb 2016,at last we are going to put a hole in the ground, when you look at the likes of particualary Bor,Fogl/Rkh deal, the deal that we have cut, is begining to look better and better.
Tuggy, I have been here since the early days (2010) and have built up around 50,000 shares over the years, unfortunately for me I still have an average of 40p so a lot of ground has to be made up to even strike even. How do you see the share price going if we do strike at rhea, as I have spent the last 5/6 years locked into this share.
Does failure in the SFB, make the NFB more valuable,or would it have been better for all, if both basins came in.

Great spot, secretblueprint, at least now we can all stop asking tugging, when he thinks rhea will be drilled! Onwards and upwards, at last we are going to see some activity, from this sleeping giant. Good luck to all holders.
Will rhea still get drilled this year,
Cheers for the Reply tuggy , you just confirmed my thoughts on this, it's nice to hear it from a fellow investor, just to verify to yourself that you are not delusional !
If rhea comes in, we could see a lot of investment in Argos, they are fully funded with no further outlay to find on future exploration, possibly giving a lot more value than any of the other oilys , peeps saying that Pmo dragging out production till 2019, putting Rkh Fogl in a very difficult position. Do you think noble, if rhea is a strike will go ahead regardless to get oil out of the ground, before 2019, making Argos a very good investment.
Noble and Edison, will become the oporaters, of the licence areas, 75% and 25% respectively, and Argos will receive 5% of the gross value of all oil produced over the life of the licence at no cost to Argos, quote, unquote.
If this well comes in, and I think a company the size of noble with their track record, of strikes, knows pretty much what there on to,then it really is game on for long term (and suffering ) Argos holders.i agree with luckyman 2 , we are now very secure, in the knowledge that noble are our partners and at the helm, and if / when oil is found on our acarage, then this share could really rise, as it will be a good investment, for long term pension plans and funds. People have been very harsh in there views, of Argos and particularly, the b.o.d. But I think that they have struck a deal with noble, that if all goes well, then it really will reward long term in investors, here's to rhea- be lucky !
Tuggy, your input is much appreciated and valued, by us long term and genuine investors. I don't quite get eegbvi, he seems very downbeat on Argos, and yet continues to voice his opinions, all be it totally negative, and critical, if I felt that way about an investment, why put time and effort, into bashing it?
Hartley JR you made my day, pmsl
Can someone explain how you can have all this buying, and yet the share price stays the same, I thought the whole idea was for a share to rise on large buying. Ah well this is aim on the verge of corruption.
Cheers both for the reply, so correct me if I'm wrong, it surly would be worth not selling your shares, and just keeping them for the duration as a pension pot, as there would be a greater return over the 20 year period, than what you could get selling them off , also how would it work on the fluctuations of oil prices would they work out a yearly average? Forgive me if these seem daft questions, but I am no financial wiz kid !
How does this work, as regards to payments to shareholders, for example, a pi with let's say fifty thousand shares, what sort of income would this return working on for say an average of 60 dollars a barrel.
Thanks tuggy for your input, I've been here since the early floatations days, and at times never thought I would see a return, first thoughts on the deal was we had been sold down the swanny by the directors, but on reflection, thanks to posters more switched on like yourself, I am beginning, to see the massive potential in this share. To all you long suffering Argos shareholders out there, our time is coming, and hopefully we will be rewarded, for our loyalty, albeit, locked in ! Gla
Could someone explain in plain English what this deal will do for us pi,s if say for instance, rhea is a hit, would we benefit in share value/ rise, or would it be seen as a hit for noble rather than argos, sorry if this seems a dumb question, but I am wondering if rhea is successful, then we mortals would still hopefully get some return. Also how does this 5% thing work as regards our shares. I was always in this for the 1st drill anyway, so hopefully all is not lost. Thanks in advance
All the best, looking forward to summertime when the living is easy, lol
# all required g&g interpretation work completed. # noumea bank engaged to identify farm in partner(s) # a number of companies interested in Argos acreage. #eirik raud contracted for minimum 6 well program 2015. # numerous option wells AVAILABLE under rig contract. # EXPECT ACTIVITY TO CHRYSTALLISE DEAL.
