rural electrification stuff -
The deputy minister said in Matai Village, Kalambo district Rukwa region when he came to inspect the supply of electricity as he joined the Deputy President of the Presidential Office, Regional Administration and Local Government (SPECIAL), Josephat Kandege, a member of the State Kalambo.
The deputy minister made the announcement, after making a visit to various areas in the Rukwa region and seeing that many villages were flooded by electricity infrastructure but were not connected to the service by other villages few kilometers away from electrical infrastructure but they did not have electricity.
In addition, in the Mtowisa County and Kipeta District in Sumbawanga district, he expressed his sadness with the ward in the original rural distribution projects as residents in Lake Rukwa Valley are the largest producers of maize and rice crops that can be added value with electrical energy.
He said that, in the Mtowisa County, the Government has already allocated funds for the construction of a District Hospital that requires electricity, and there are also services that provide services to communities such as Courts, Police, Health Centers and Schools that require electricity to operate effective.
He emphasized that the Government would not tolerate emerging flood infringements in all areas with all electrical impulse parameters, including the passing of electrical infrastructure.
"The government is committed to delivering electricity to all villages in the country until 2021 but these projects are being carried out in different phases, so when you make a Village election in those phases, you must involve various leaders like the Regions and the District as they are aware of the demand for electricity in the villages,"
