So? better get out then!!!
It's not going up I wonder why?
How on earth can you say I never liked you and you never liked me? You don't know me and I don't know you so what are you on about.
Besides which I thought you were a DB groupie. I too have a deal of respect for such a perceptive old timer, many of whom I met and worked with offshore. These guys know their stuff and he genuinely has the shareholders interest at heart. If he didn't he and the BOD would be 'pigging' out on the proceeds themselves and not looking for a welcome dividend for us who have stuck with UJO. No doubt an astute move anyway, as todays RNS is, because its tax efficient I guess anyway.
with any luck those who denigrated DB and his management team got out and are desperately trying to get back in. Oh ye of little faith. Hopefully I can now look forward to following this board without having to read all the petty arguing and bad mouthing that went on in the past, but then oilies are a bit renowned. . So that so until the SP slides back again we should be free of the sort of pernicious abuse on this board for the time being and read all the 'multi-bagger' type hype that will no doubt be the coming theme. .
Yep Bez spot on. I was born in Poole and worked in the offshore oil industry and have followed Wytch Farm with interest. It has had zero adverse effect on the town despite long reach drilling into Poole Bay. Millionaires Row at Sandbanks totally unaffected although sea level rises could devalue their properties. The drill site is surrounded by nature conservation areas and seabird colonies and the millionaires playground around Poole Harbour. Totally unaffected and until we find alternative energy sources we are stuck with a lifestyle that demands more and more fossil fuels, given that Monster Man is turning off the taps and reducing output. Ho
What a differencce a few bucks rise makes. I don't think DB is likely to turn into a lifestyle chairman yet. He has too much common sense unlike many of those who have been pouring bile on our illustrious l eader in and his team in the recent last. I hope they sold out at the bottom.
the message is getting out there at last. I reckon we are well and truly on a roll GLA
Exciting RNS - good IPO float for us
10 are blue, five red which is very promising indeed. He who stays the longest sees the most. Can't go wrong in the present climate but then where have I heard that before?
Whats not to like,
Roger, have you actually followed this company from i ts inception because I don't think you have when you come out with such trite simplistic statements.
mmm....... can't make up my mind about this one.
Sweetness and light prevails, I might look in on this board from time to time to see if there is any useful info knocking about rather thn poisonous playground diatribe.
askl rathlin they are the operator
because most of it seems to be scoring points against other posters. Tell me who on earth is this Heidi who seems to attract so much controversy, must have little else in life than to keep posting stuff that most of us shouldd know already.
I hope its there after all this excitement but no doubt we'll soon find out !
I can vouch your advice is subject to the general market conditions. If in a bull market which we aren't all well and good it should work but in the doldrums market good news often sticks and IMO you would be unwise to get out even if there is some 'bad' news to follow. Anyway I con't really see that there would be any bad news that would cause punters to sell up. But then just my opinion GLA Personally I would like to see some falls meanwhile to buy more.
Just the same old day trader games but we will win through irrespective of their activities. Aftter investing in AIM ever since it was established I have noticed that certain shares seem to be favourites for pumping and dumping. Not sure that I would include POW at the moment. It used to be on news or press releases but these days it seems to be for no reason at all but I guess autotrading explains alot of the movement.. The perpetrators just apparently seem to pick on certain shares for n o particular reason.
The more I read this the more suspicious I become.
Shaun is 'delighted' that Newcrest don't want 5%. Drrr! What have I missed?
