I am wondering now if there is something being orchestrated behind the scenes, price held low by shorters, long term large holders selling out now like Peterwood who may have wanted a bigger premium, shares in issue reduced massively due to the low price, surely PE has to be sniffing around and with some of the longer term holders gone, a premium on today’s share price would look big on paper to newer holders while still being cheap for PE who could farm it out or sit on the cash generation for strong returns

Given how much cash they have in hand now, how much is left on paper at segi still, how much is likely in the ground there too .. with that in mind 250m- 300m to get likely 15 years of gold pumping out while working on Ivory Coast seems fine and easily doable

Sounds like 10 years in douta is a given based on his talk at the metal summit with 20 being in the cards longer term, perhaps even 15 by h226 when they do the dfs with this continued drilling and additional licence.

They also narrowed the full year production guidance so we can easily make a worse case scanario which is still an incredible year using lower end production and upper end asic, we know gold has averaged over 4k so far this Q and they held back bullion last Q to sell at this higher price

Gocompare deal came out at about 590m, recent valuation of compare the market likely values Gocompare at Al least 450-500m. The market currently values the rest of the business at under 100m which is mental given the cash generation of it, it has literally priced complete collapse of everything other than Gocompare.

Sorry isa to clarify! Where I say 1.5 years left and continued exploration, I mean even after douta is producing, so essentially I reckon 4.5 years starting point for this resource extension followed by more, who knows how much we find and what head the deeper we go.
