Because they're looking for it in sufficient quantities to make a mine operation viable. To date that has no happened.

The same people keep making ultra positive predictions based on hope not hard facts. The assay results might be mediocre and then what?

Folks constantly making predictions that fall flat should really quieten down and wait for hard data.

Being wrong all the time just destroys any credibility going forward.

You're doing it again. Posting unsubstantiated predictions helps no-one. Discover what analyst predicted 11p (out of the hundreds of analysts contributing to the Investors Chronicle) and when the prediction was made and maybe folks will take it seriously.

As for the coal. It worries me that it's lignite i.e. the worlds most polluting form of coal.

I was specifically asking about the gold actually. I'm aware of the Thar situation. I see that this began life as all about Thar before diversifying into other areas. I suspect many long term holders are banking on Thar more than anything.

I realise I'm a rookie when it comes to AIM investing. I'm more of a safe funds and ETF's kind of a guy. However whilst researching ORCP I'm a bit confused re the gold i.e. folks are posting as though vast riches will soon be flowing whereas that's likely to be years away isn't it? I'm judging that by the attached article that gives the low down re how rare it is for a mine to actually be a viable proposition.

Are folks here saying that ORCP will make big money soon from selling their interest in the gold field to a bigger fish when or if it's established that there is sufficient gold for a productive mine?
