From experience, not many shares go up after a discounted offer. Actually, I can't think of one.

It will go up on news, down on no news, just hold and wait for good things.

I'm doing the same LWHL, although tempted to buy more today.

I'm happy with my initial investment and happy to await further news. I'd like contracts in place and more confidence before throwing the kitchen sink in too, but i'm more than confident in ALRT.

It's not an issue at all, its part of the strategy. Growth can't happen without funding. It's only a problem for short term traders.

This company has been as transparent as possible, released rns's almost daily, appointing serious talent, put out a 5 year plan, advise of an oversubscribed placing...all within 1 week of starting!

I'm holding out on BLU, waiting to claw my money back from 2020 and then adding more CHP. Researching and listening to some knowledgable investors on this chat, it feels like a good investment to top up whilst we are awaiting news.

Former CEO of First Sentinel Corporate Finance, IFSA. ...Finance Director at Rangers Football Club. ...Director and senior positions at Zeus Capital, Corporate Finance. Allenby Capital, Noble & Company, Grant Thornton. All large, respectable companies and Exec positions. I would describe his credentials as impressive, but i welcome your opposite view. There's always two ways of looking at things.

But Brian is not developing the tech, he is bringing in an impressive team. Together they can deliver something of value.

@HD73, Yes I was surprised too, but here we are. It will take time, nothing is certain but let’s see where we are in the coming weeks. We shifted the business to Cass and AI opportunity, which excited many inc myself. We are now adapting this AI into defence so, I am now excited x3 :-)

I'm in CHP(Vela). These are the 2 shares I am currently in profit with , but i see ALRT as the most exciting and profitable company.

We will see rises and dropping back down, all dependant on news, progress, sellers, rampers. Yes Guild investors will want money back. I'm a 2024 Guild holder (and Cass) and if you have any sense, you'll be keeping your money in this new outfit ALRT. Long way to go yet.

Regarding the ramping comments, a plan is not ramping! A 5 year plan/orbit is a strategic plan that any experienced company owner carries out at the very start. It shows commitment to growth, we do it for all our clients.

How you implement that plan is another matter! Given Brian and the team's credentials, I expect this plan to be implemented effectively.

This share reminds me of hemo, update drips and promising solutions and potential contracts, that are yet to come to fruition.

I hope for all investors we receive good news soon, but i'd be happy to get back out. I'm making more money in the defence sector also!

I hope so, I did a test trade with SCGL to see what 'I would have made', eg £1k would have been £40k. So when Cass announced the news i jumped all in on this. Only scgl was very much pumped and speculation, if the Ai tech takes off...then it crashes back down. I still have a small holding in scgl.

The difference here is it's not hype. Rampers may affect the share at some point, but ultimately we have a serious company here, recruiting serious talent and developing serious defence tech. This won't crash back down, it will keep going up because they will land big contracts and build a successful company. I hope!

Hindsight eh, If only we had a crystal ball Panabob, at least you're in now. It should go a lot higher and good luck with your investment

Interesting to read the revised 'pure play platform' words on the rns - 'Defence Holdings PLC, the UK's first publicly listed pure-play defence technology platform'. Are we fingers in pies here?

A very interesting share to watch over the coming weeks and i'm looking forward to seeing how we close today.

Bets on? Are we heading back down and being manipulated by mm's, or did all will all the newbies catching on take this up a notch again. It will be fun to watch
