Thanks for the pointer to this one. Nice to see it moving forward again today on low volumes.
I saw your post earlier, thanks. Glad it was a profitable move for you. Having waited for nearly 5 months for the suspension to be lifted I was delighted to not just get a return of captial, but a 50% uplift as well! Well done and good luck to those who are sitting with 100% plus... wilgray
Positive Reaction ...to lifted suspension!!
Suspension Lifted........ http://www.investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=200911120730003823C
Very interesting company......did you know that tyre sensors are mandatory in the US? I didn't. This company is starting to develop key strateic partnerships and maybe ready for moving forward to another level. Goodyear.......... http://investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=20090925070000H3561 Interim results http://investegate.co.uk/Article.aspx?id=20090903070100H9150 "............presentations have been made recently to several major tyre OEM's, distributors, retreaders and fleet management and distribution companies in Malaysia, China and Japan. These discussions were encouraging, and agreements have been signed with FEC International and Mesnac. There appears to be significant appetite for cutting edge technology in this region, as these expanding companies seek competitive advantages through innovation." Early days... but worth watching?
...rise of 20% during the day, before retracing from its lofty heights!! Perhaps the funding completion is just around the corner?
This company has undertaken a significant restructuring programme, has a turnover of over £50m, and moving towards profitability again. It's not without risk, but, significantly, the reports show that financing is nearing completion. Its net asset value on recent reports was above its current market cap. Nice....to look back and read that we spotted value in November 2008 Hope you managed to buy and stay in since then... regards wilgray
Some further director buys on Friday. Good balanced portfolio of strong assets and speculative developments and healthy cash position at interim stage. See portfolio of assets and check progress on page 6 of annual report....
Interesting to see the price tick up a couple of times this last week on very low volume. Some increased volumes showing on Plus on Friday, not huge, but enought to move the price a little... http://www.plusmarketsgroup.com/data.shtml?ISIN=BMG5504H1051/GBX/PLUS-exn I wonder whether they are ready to announce more details of the strategic merger soon?? From the 4/9/09 RNS....... "In this regard, one possibility which is being actively pursued is a potential merger with a larger company and the Board is currently actively negotiating with one party that could result in such a strategic merger. A further announcement will be made as soon as is appropriate."
I bought into AGY Allergy Therapeutics earlier in the week...and its just starting to tick up a little...... 1. Good results recently........ http://www.allergytherapeutics.com/PreliminaryResultsJune2009.aspx 2. Awaiting approval by FDA for clinical approval of Pollinex in US 3. From ft.com 22/9/09 Specialist drugmaker Allergy Therapeutics was up 7.3 per cent to 18p after full-year results showed sales up and losses no wider than expected. Nomura Code repeated "buy" advice with a 36p valuation. 4. Also highlighted in Moneyweek Friday 25th Sept 2009 5. RNS issued today indicating Azure Ventures had built up a 45% stake http://www.lse.co.uk/share-regulatory-news.asp?shareprice=AGY&ArticleCode=pa4k6d57&ArticleHeadline=Exercise_of_Warrants 6. But waiver by Takeover Panel approved at AGM to waive requirement of Azure to make a takeover offer http://www.allergytherapeutics.com/AGM.aspx If anyone has any thoughts on any of the above positive or negative I'd be keen to here. I suspect it might be another one that gains 10-20% in the next couple of weeks as the FDA approval is thought to imminent....if FDA approval is granted then who knows the US market potential.....

23% stake in MWG which has risen significantly on recent press reports, and has a number of investments in other quoted companies with interesting risk/reward scenarios. Worth looking at their annual report. Their 6 mth results due to be published on 20th August should show an improved NAV from their most recent statement. Regards Wilgray
Yes I think that's right. The full funding package will not be agreed until the 'second half' of 2009 as per the recent RNS. But certainly an update on the $20m should precede that, plus news on interims due soon.
This share is certainly testing the patience and nerve, today it dipped to 6.84 before recovering. However. news is expected soon on the initial funding for Caldag, should at least lead to a short term lift in SP.
