Turkey's foreign minister has opened the talks in Istanbul, reminding both sides the "whole world is watching".

Hakan Fidan said he believes today's meeting will bring "concrete" results, bringing them all closer to peace.

"We will also be talking about taking one more step pertaining to the exchange of prisoners of war," he added.

"And we are also hoping to discuss the preparations for the leaders' meeting.

"Conducting fruitful meetings and frequent meetings is beneficial for both sides."

@Pat. In a nutshell, yes, you've got it right - with one arm tied behind their backs! Putin presented an almost defunct NATO as a real and imminent threat and got away with it - thus far. There is something rotten in the State of Russia, as indeed there is in the souls of people like Tim and Dattabase.

I'd take a look outside of Russia before you claim something is rotten, mentioning Dattabase in your posts is a joke, they person is a looney as proven by their recent posts.

Doesn't matter, they have taken and continue to take more of Ukraine, along with more of the Ukrainian lives and EU money. They are winning and are happy to continue until Zelensky and the EU masters decide to wake up and accept it, it will only get worse for Ukraine as they aren't getting back any of the land taken land, the more they lose the less tgey will have.

I don't feel that they are in a position to negotiate rightly or wrongly, it's not for me to decide but Ukraine are losing and are not going to reverse the situation as it stands...so what, carry on?

Are you suggesting that Russia are struggling? As far as I can see they've seized a rather large chunk on Ukraine and got rid of many undesirables in the process (Russian convicts)

Russia is prepared to consider a ceasefire in its war against Ukraine, but only if Kyiv stops receiving Western weapons and halts mobilization, Vasily Nebenzya, Russia's envoy to the United Nations, said on May 30, according to the Russian state news agency TASS.

"In principle, we are ready to consider the possibility of establishing a ceasefire, which would subsequently allow for a sustainable resolution of the root causes of the conflict," Nebenzya said at a U.N. Security Council meeting.

Russia, a permanent member of the U.N. Security Council, convened the meeting to accuse European nations of undermining peace efforts. The Russian ambassador said that any ceasefire would require Western governments to end their support for Ukraine's armed forces.

"During the ceasefire, it is essential that Western countries stop supplying weapons to the Kyiv regime (the Ukrainian government) and that Ukraine halt its mobilization," Nebenzya said.

EU 'will provide security guarantees to Ukraine'

French President Emmanuel Macron says the EU will "work together to the very end" to provide security guarantees to Ukraine.

He says the EU needs to reinvest in its own security because "Russia will remain a threat for us".

Macron says Europe will increase spending on defence and security in line with requests from Donald Trump's US.

He says this is important so the EU "is not dependent on anybody".

Looks like the EU are expecting Zelensky to accept

The biggest request from Russia is going to be that there is no further eastward expansion of NATO, I personally don't think it's a big ask and beleive that Ukraine will HAVE to accept this if they truly want a peace deal, Zelensky...over to you, let's see if you truly want peace.

Trump has seemingly given Putin a two week deadline to agree a ceasefire.

Trump may have issued threats that some may say he hasnt followed thorough with, one thing is fr sure that he can't get these "idle" threats up without acting upon them, Putin knows it, Zelensky knows it, Trump knows it....

Games will be played by all parties and what the press publish doesn't scratch the surface of whats gone/going on behind closed doors.

Let's see what Monday's talks brings.

Intrigued as to how the liquidity will raise the share price, in its simplest terms liquidity means it's just easier to buy and sell, there must be big buyers in the background as CS stated that he has essentially listed on the Kaz exchange to satisfy requests to enable buying, these aren't going to be PI's that's for sure. Not expected to see a massive rise but certainly a strong and steady rise IMO...

One thing I know is that this share rockets without the big buyers, imagine what will happen when said big buyers start 🤔

It will be the very last day of June going by the boards previous success rate. As long as it gets done I will be happy, then move on to "bringing shareholders value" as soon as possible, CS has said he would like to see this by year end...a bold statement.
