Zelensky should definitely give up the captured land, clue is in the name "captured" it now belongs to the side winning the battle and if he doesnt hand it over Russia will carry on fighting to keep it causing more deaths. Russia have fought for it, they simply aren't going to hand it all back.

Ball is in Zelensky's and the EU's court, any further deaths and they are entirely to blame.

Agreed, I think its more about getting a decision now rather than what decision.

Hopefully news today, Trump has now outrightly stated that Zelensky can end the war almost immediately if he wants, firmly putting the ball in his court. No more EU and Zelensky making putin the bad guy that doesnt want to end the war.

The SP isnt likely to see a good rise until there is a peace deal and the currency change happens.

Looks like your lover Zelensky and the EU are finally coming to their senses. Question is, was it worth the thousands of lives lost by provoking a war that they simply don't have the skills to negotiate a win?

If the EU say "NO" trump will walk away, the EU want and need the US as part of NATO as thats where the money comes from. The EU can't fund the war on their own.

After all of the above, if the EU are still stupid enough to not understand and Trump walks away, trade deals will still be struck between the US and Putin as they would in peace deal scenario so it essentially makes no difference to EUA holders medium term. In terms of how it will affect us as people, I've given up worrying, as proven through covid and the last 3.5 years it is something we will never change.

If a peacedeal is signed and the currency change complete 10p will be seen in the rear view mirror IMO. In this situation there is no reason why 20p could ne seen, remember we were well into the 20's/low 30's before the war and the sanctions will be removed very soon after allowing the sale.

Ceasefire simply wont work, the EU nor Zelensky can be trusted.

I truly believe Russia want peace and they have outrightly stated that they have no issues with security guarantees for Ukraine therefore the western scare tactics that "Russia will come for the rest of Ukraine (and Europe)" can't happen and are of no interest of Putin.
