According to their last end on year accounts , dividend payments will be around January and July 2026

I have owned this share for over 4 years. In that time the share price has been decimated , debt has increased to a little over $0.5bn and it's spent more time suspended than being traded .

Long term I do have faith in the company and as long as the new deals are accretive without further dilution. However, I am starting to question the managements view regarding it's long suffering shareholders.where is the value here that the management is creating ?

By their actions we are definitely the bottom of the pile in priority. It does seem they are more interested in growing the company and view shareholders as an annoyance.

Does anyone else on this board share a similar view ??

Received dividend yesterday.

Glad it's all done and dusted now albeit sad to see it go. However , the management were dire and lessons learned !

At least my Ptal holding will get a good boost !

Yep, I received my divi this afternoon in my 212 account. I have noticed my divi's are paid approx 3 days later than AJ Bell.

I hope they have just overexposed themselves to poo /gas volitility .

The very generous monthly divi , then having to pay Canadian taxes on top of the fall in oil / gas prices , whilst trying to maintain capex spend was proving too much for the balance sheet.

As long as they are able to maintain forecast production levels . With the increase in oil / gas , move to a more sustainable quarterly divi ,the balance sheet should be strengthened.

The next update will tell all !!

With oil and gas prices rising, additional ii investment , nothing seems to be shifting the SP !

Does the market know something we pi's don't ?

Or will we have to wait for the next update or possible confirmation of a dividend before sentiment changes here ??

Hopefully not too many. I have a feeling there is a big holder offloading. Wish I had more funds available to top up further though !

Even with Thermal coal at current prices they are creating a fair amount of FCF

very happy to be proved wrong , but the hope of a special divi declaration any time soon , i feel is just hope. with the large drop in coal prices, trouble with transfer plus other probable issues , management may take the prudent co**** to conserve cash !

divi or no special divi at current sp this is a bargain for the short to medium term.

However it does beg the questions....
If dividend are within near term reach, why sell such a large amount ? Would have made more sense to me to collect the 'dividends' then sell down.
Along side that, should dividends start to be paid I'm pretty sure that would up the SP....and therefore get alot more for their disposal.
Two possibilities,
MBU , need to turn over some profit ,
Or de-risking.
All odd considering not so long ago MBU stated on a roasters pod ,with AW , that they had no intention of reducing their holding !

No clarity on 2nd HWM
Growing stockpiles , possibly can't sell what they've produced
MBU Selling a large stake of their holding.... Draw your own conclusions there

All this, and probably more is why Ben's is considered a sucker stock with a very poor sentiment view. AW has squandered his credibility

Tbh, i think all these shenanigans is a smoke and mirrors exercise. I really dont think RBW or for that matter GB would be so daft as to try and defraud the Burundian govt. It makes no sense!
Personally... I think China is very much in the background orchestrating matters!
They are masters of the long game and Strategy.
It is more in their interest to maintain as much as possible their dominance in this sector.

Great news today, but i was thinking with two potentially three sites now to be developed, and considering their cash levels, do people here think a placing could be a near term action to finance getting these assets to production?
I know they will get some cash / deal from RMI for the wow wow gap asset though this will be late 21 / 22.
Be very interested in everyone's thoughts on this.

I was listening to zac mirs interview of xtract mining earlier.... They were saying that they have high grades of copper in their assets of 0.4% upwards!! And a reserve of a couple of million tons.
Rambler has 1.6 % to 2 % copper grades. Now thats high!! Plus 400 odd million tons of resource!
However long it takes, probably 2yrs, this company will be a completely different and profitable company. Time in the market here will deliver the rewards.
Frankly if you don't like the company, don't have the faith in TB and the turnaround project, invest somewhere else!!
Lets keep this BB constructive!!

Pj has been unusually quiet for sure!! He's either been concentrating on getting the interims out?

Been quite quiet on the drilling /exploration front!
