I'm a long-time lurker having had ITM in my SIPP since mid 2022 (£2ish). I started self-managing the SIPP shortly before that, with no previous experience of this world at all and have made plenty of mistakes including ITM - or so I thought until recently. I've been averaging down and I'm now well into the black although perhaps holding more than is sensible. Not planning to sell anytime soon, though. I've learned a lot from this board and going off to google what's discussed on the threads - RNS, shorting, market makers, scalping, averaging down. (Most of my investment is in funds with just a few play shares.) Just wanted to stick my head about the parapet to say thanks for your camaraderie and the time, diligence and generosity so many of you show. I might even ask some questions out loud now! Here's to more news and more upside...
