Its like we said, after the initial failure and resulting drop, this share is high risk high reward.
Positive results are by no means, a sure thing. But, if they are, the sp could be multiples of what it is now. If they are not, then expect a drop.
There is some hope to be taken by the ambiguity of the european results. And the japanese results can either replicate the europe results, confirm the drug can and does work or be a failure.
Its a simple investment choice which should be mostly determined by your appetite for risk.
Thats just my take, im sure others have their own.
For a top up.
I think, in part, many that believe that this will pay off, have already invested and taken their positions. Now its a matter of waiting. And its in this period that buying eases up and selling continues as people start to get twitchy (whether its to chase other risers, cant deal with seeing a loss or just impatience).
So, the sp ticks down until either news hits or a big buyer sees a decent oppurtunity and a price they like.
Just try to remember why you bought to begin with. And, with each day that passes, the likelihood of news increases
Like with most stock here, its sentiment driven. And there is some way yet to go to restore it. But the current narrative and potential is enough for some, to at least start the process.
We dont know what the future holds but for me, the current sp offers great risk/reward.
For me, the current financial situation is of no concern, its whats on offer that im looking at.
If licence is signed off, finance sorted and drilling covered, then where we are now will long be forgotten (with or without placing).
I lost something similar following eme and angus. But like you, i had sone great returns elsewhere. Currently Aor and before that, hemo.
But as spurs said, you hit the nail on the head about having patience.
Seems like we are in good company
Haha, you give me too much credit, leas. Its only after some hard learnt lessons, that i have found a method that works for me.
Expecting to see instant returns on volatile stocks is something i no longer do.
Just have to remind yourself why you invested and forget about the rest. Also, it helps that i only ever invest what i can afford to lose. Helps avoid the temptation to panic sell.
Here, there is too much at stake to risk being out. We all know what is potentially around the corner. So, for me, i will be adding here shortly.
Not that you asked me, the way i see it is that if it does drop further, i csn only see it going to low-mid 50s. Whereas, the potential upside is significantly greater.
Much like with farn, when it was in the low 60s. It had the potential to go lower, but with the return of volume, it moves up very quickly.
Ive learnt to ignore intraday movements and to focus on what the endgame is.
I do apologise to those that feel im too negative or deramping, but peoples positivity has started to turn into certainty. And, if you read my previous posts here, you will see im as hopeful and optimistic about the potential here, as anyone.
Just feel that a touch of objectivity and realisation of the situation for what it is, would not go amiss.
Laks - i may be a dreamer, but i try to be an honest one. Plus, it helps that ive managed to trade up my free holding quite substantially over the past couple of months. So, feeling quite comfortable here lol.
Like i said from the start, for me its boom or bust, so will be here til whatever happens.
All the best to you
Hey laks, hope all is going well.
I see not much has changed here, just some of the names on the board.
I dont bother checking here since those times, since i see this as something to be stashed away for a few years.
But the recent rise caught my attention.
We dont know what the Japanese results will show. Many of us are hoping that the results are significantly better than the European results. But, the future of traumakine in europe would be dependant on another costly p3 trial.
Until the cause of the recent failure is understood, this is still a risky investment.
It could either boom or bust.
Im in the same boat, bertie. Still holding farn and hoping for much of the same here (actually hoping for a lot more here).
Added just before close today, as i may not share your passion for rocki road and expensive mouthwash, i do believe the rewards here could be modestly life changing
Wassat, i know that feeling only too well. And you also probably are inflicted with "as soon as you sell the sp recovers" disease.......or is that just me!?
