These are the ones who are now getting out to put their funds elsewhere when it never happened.

Most of us LTerm holders are happy enough to wait out this lull which at some point will end.

We will then know if our quiet patience will be rewarded

Call me cynical or a conspiracy theorist but IMO a possible scenario might be

The price was held at offer price for last couple of months

The gov waits for 16p and sells off 50% slowly and gets their 20M back so free carry for half

Gives Cornish the same 20M in 12 months (great publicity)

Price goes up again sells last tranche of 8p makes more than 20M again

Retail punters in the dark as cost hmg nothing ( they actually make a sizeable profit) and we are shafted once again

And for those conspiracy theorists

How about the offer price being set 2/3 months ago so the sp had to be kept reasonably close at the RNS date which is why no updates and constant selling for no reasonable point when it drifted down from near 10p

And if you wait a couple of days and no further updates what are the chances of sub 8p happening

So I can buy 50,000 shares this afternoon and if I do it in a few tranches at the right time get them for roughly the same price as the offer and not be in a race for shares.

Why not release some information such as

reserves update

Shaft update before so less shares need to be issued

Shaft update

Funding

Global stability

Any positive update on how shaft refurbishment and next level sp

Funding sorted and up we go to staging level (28ish perhaps)

Global stability and return to growth and ever increasing to production and profitability (sp your guess is as good as mine - excuse pun)

Patience is a virtue and in short supply

What would be nice while we wait for funding news is an update on shaft refurbishment.

The majority of retail holders remaining at this price are in it for the long haul.

There are very few trades and who knows what or who buys 4 or sells 20k

Each trade on its own cannot move the sp to a stable up or down.

So reporting 9.01 or 9.50 is pointless in the real world.

When there are hundreds of significant size buys the share price will shift

I would like to think that while we wait for any news on funding a status report on the shaft and/or resource upgrades would come along soon just to keep investors up to date with progress.

I was very careful with my words.

I was not referring to seismic orders or movements but until major news trade quantities fall into retail sizes and 100,000 type buys need to be managed so as not to cause uncontrolled movements in sp that will affect future sizeable trades.

As for Ginger looking at 2 years before major sp moves well that says it all
