It’s intriguing to announce this 5 months after the AGM, 1 month before financial year end and 3 months after the appointment of Cavendish who are there to advise on M&A, sales and buy outs? Watch this space we might get £2.00 plus yet?!

RNS this a.m is significant in as much as (IMHO) it paves the way for a buy out. They will sell Engineering for cash and then buy back company? Any views.

Very large purchase of shares on Friday (£1,000,000). Will be interesting if we receive an RNS. If it’s Harwood I’d get buying!

Appointment of Cavendish Capital Markets looks interesting…specialists in M&A. Maybe we will hear more on 18th when H1 results out and what Outlook is on the horizon?

Pleased to see Harwood buying again. I think they must be largest single shareholder now. Their man on the inside so must be optimistic signs?

Is Harwood buying on the cheap…?

Gosh I thought you had somehow miraculously provided an answer when I saw the News & RNS comments 1, and the sudden volume.
Perhaps tomorrow! It’s time…..

Looking at the Edison report out today they have spent £400,000 on the ongoing strategic review. They’ve clearly got some heavyweight advisers on board and judging by the emphasis on Engineering I’d bet that will be sold next few months?

The shares are certainly holding up in the current circumstances…is this connected to the Edison report on shareholder value or flight to quality or both?

Review of strategic options

The Group's portfolio is managed in three divisions, with financial performance reported accordingly. Each division has a strong market position and considerable potential for growth although, operating in different markets, the Board recognises that there are limited opportunities to benefit from synergies.

The Board has therefore decided to conduct a review of its strategic options across all three divisions, which will include input from external advisers. The Board will update investors at the time of the Group's interim results in April 2022.
