Thanks again Richam, Not such good news as we had hoped, but then I, for one, will not shoot the messenger but gratefully appreciate the effort of intelligent reporting - including the fast backtracking on error discovery. It does leave a question on why the last quarter seems to have run short of expected shipment - roll on that damned RNS and put us out of our misery!! Once again Richam you are a star truly appreciated - even with the "not-so-good" data. Good luck to all Wolfers, WD43
Thanks Richam, sounds like a bit of effective management in place to balance out the throughput - ie what goes out equates what comes in LOL! I think the Japanese had some word for this organisation of work flow to the optimum. Good luck to all Wolfers, WD43.
Thanks to Richam and Process Guy for the analysis and wetting the finger - and mentioning fingers it looks like the finger has truly been pulled out metaphorically by WLFE. It would be great if we had more solid facts on the actual shipments but your analysis gives a boost to current status. The forthcoming RNS is going to be dissected to shreds and will have substantive impact on the SP - the vultures are gathering with the "told-u-so" rabble so I reckon the SP will be up and down - volatility of a "Bride's Nighty" as many will recoup any loss viz-a-viz the buyers. Good luck to all Wolfers. WD43
This was hit twice - has someone been naughty and the rules caught them out - for once!! I have for the last 5 years been highly suspicious of the AIM market and the manipulation by Market Makers to line their own pockets to the detriment of the retail investor. How on earth can a near 30% spread in WLFE be ever justified, even if the available volume is very thin this is bordering on criminality - nothing new there then! Good luck to all Wolfers out there. WD43
Oh dear Leapfrog, you just couldn't resist could you - still you have kept to my expectations of being Mr Negative. Now on the vaguest of chance (according to you) the forthcoming RNS is bullish and upbeat, would we ever see you grovel and apologise to the rest of the Wolfers on here? Needing more money is possible of course - granted, but I reckon (without valid data) any dilution will be offset by the increase in APT as long as the Chinese maintain their crackdown on polluting suppliers. Despite all the serious hiccups along the way WLFE is a first class UK operation and in production, all the other Tungsten wannabes are not yet on the starting block! All my readies are committed elsewhere otherwise I would be lowering my unit cost as others have indicated. Keep a close eye on the SP Leapfrog, I'll expect a judicial grovelling after the 5p mark yet I guess you will exit from here to escape the embarrassment. Good luck to all Wolfers and a Happy New Year. WD43
To every one of you Wolfers out there. May the New Year bring in some glad tidings - we certainly could do with the uplift after several dismal months. Have the scrumpy from down Somerset way plus a bottle of cider brandy to do the Chrimbo celebration malarkey, not bothering with the overeating game as it takes too long to rid the tummy of the flabby bits LOL! Good luck to all and here's to 2018 WD43
@ LeapFrog, I consider myself lucky as though under water to around 72k on book cost, only 13k under on cash invested within the ISA ( All the eggs!). Only a small uplift on SP will see me break even so there is no choice but to hold - if I had the readies available I would be filling my boots even more at this price lowering my cost-per-share, but you are right on current status - the risk to reward ratio isn't good, the forthcoming RNS should explain in more detail how close to nameplate WLFE is. WRES is an interesting venture considering the lowest CAPEX (?? right term ??) claimed, but production is a year away at least. It is more of a punt at the present price but so are several other Tungsten mining wannabes. Good luck to all. WD43
Well said F-Superman - the whole aspect from WLFE's start-up was the ethical considerations they had in place, many already implemented and currently tackling the LFN. Getting through all the stringent regulatory hurdles and meeting the environmental issues is one hell of a success story. An undertaking of this magnitude is expected to have teething and subsequent optimisation, though it could have been handled far better knowing that the surface ore was not compatible because of the decision made to use somewhat suspect machinery. Most of those hassles are now under the belt and I assume that all out effort is being made to achieve nameplate output. The steady ramp up of APT has only just started so that is the marker to follow, not the shenanigans with WLFE's SP, have too many splintered fingers from the p***ing around by the unmentionables - though now is a great opportunity for those with faith and the readies. I made the choice to put my eggs all in and I'll live with that - the mines lifetime I believe will see me pushing up the daisies and hopefully I'll get some recompense in the interim. Good luck to all, WD43
Hi Wolfers, The depression from the sliding SP does not make for a good Christmas, but as Daytrader13 has pointed out, the New Year (hopefully) will bring "Good Tidings" . I have the nagging belief that the price manipulation (?) is some form of "Shaking the Tree" again and seeing if the apples are falling from the ensuing panic. As Bulent74 found out - it is a marginally thin market out there for WLFE so that hints that the Big Boys are holding on tightly to their hoard - anything untoward would show a large ditching taking place as the Big Boys I reckon would be the first to know though that would raise concerns about Insider knowledge. The Aim market isn't a shining beacon of honesty. Good luck to all. WD43
Thank you Ophidian, considering the sudden peak/ramp up in Zinc pricing according to the report, it seemed like a Rabbit contender LOL! Good luck to all, WD43
I believe that Zinc may be some or one of the residue in WLFE's ore, the remaining Gangue from the Tin and Tungsten extraction could hold another opportunity to bolster profit margin. Article in the "Investing News" caught my eye this morning and mentioned the 90% yearly increase in price and the crackdown by the Chinese authorities. https://investingnews.com/daily/resource-investing/base-metals-investing/zinc-investing/zinc-prices-climb-supply-concerns/?mqsc=E3921469 Of course I haven't a clue whether there is any Zinc there in appreciable amount at all at the Hemerdon mine but on the basis that it is often found in Tungsten ores there is a slim chance it could be a Rabbit. Good luck to all, WD43
Thanks DevonMaid - have my request to be included emailed across, I'll want some good weather too as this will be part of a holiday as I've always hankered to see the Eden Project - I'll lay off the Scrumpy though no matter how tempting!! Good luck to al Wolfers. WD43
Several Scorodite crystals sourced from Hemerdon on sale at this link at substantial prices:- http://www.trinityminerals.com/ms2000/scorodite.shtml unusual but I find lumpy Galena more attractive - the question I have is - where is the market? I'll follow that as it is an interesting side issue but I honestly do not believe that it is relevant to the one of ensuring tungsten ore production's capacity level is moved to name plate level. Guess we will have to wait and see if there is any mention in the next RNS I have a couple of large Galena crystals in display boxes, all from the time I made crystal sets LOL! Good luck to all. WD43
Looks like fat thumb/sticky key syndrome with two 180k sells yesterday at exactly the same time stamp, to be repeated today with one at a negative (-) 180k and identical time stamp ?? Could it be a shorter with burnt fingers, we will never know (but wish)! Good luck to all. WD43
Thanks RWK - good news warmly welcomed, a few more upward moves like this are more likely to stick without the slide backs. I have the inkling this rise is because of the lack of ore availability with the Chinese authorities clamping down on the artesian mines and the polluters. - as Leapfrog likes to point out - I could be wrong! Don't worry Leapfrog, I wont drop into the ad hominems despite the temptation to do so, but why not surprise everyone by stating this 0.72% is good news - not just for WLFE but for other Tungsten mining facilities, you'll collect a few recommendations for sure. Good Luck to all Wolfers. WD43
Wow! 1/2 Million buy at 0.057p - made a few changes on Bid but no move on Ask or SP. Seems quite a high price for a buy at that volume unless that's indication of not many in free fall being available. Should see further movement come Monday, especially if the Metal Bulletin has some positive change. Good luck to all Wolfers. WD43
Hello - hello, the Grma Wormtongue has risen again, almost resembling Gollum, and Saruman shortened his nickname to "Worm" (thanks to Fandom for the extract). No apologies Leapfrog as the analogy is so close to how I envision you with your posting disquiet and misery. We are (myself specifically) well aware of the problems WLFE face and the dilution that may ensue from debt burden. I have invested for the long haul, long haul to me means up to 10 years or more, none of your negative posturings makes me query that decision. What I do query is what motivates you Wormtongue, what hidden agenda is burning so much that you have never as far as I remember posted a single positive note? At the simplest you are a troll, or this is a form of vendetta/vengeance you seem determined to pursue. It may be that you wish all those invested are so disquieted by your posts they divest allowing you to reap a bonanza, the analogy there is a buzzard picking on the corpse of panicked investor's savings. I am allowing you credence of being intelligent enough to understand that quite a few on here take exception to your postings which, if you take pleasure in that, then ipso facto - you are a troll. Good luck to all WD43
At 08:33 a single share sold - I'm living in a Reality Dysfunction here, has anybody got a clue about this. Still plucking the splinters from the fingers. As Bulent74 said there's small time operators with tiny deals but what the heck passes for logic on a single share trade?? Quite innovative as a new way in loosing money :-) Good luck to all WD43
Please stay on board Devonwolf, your postings are always detailed, considered, helpful and honest. You have my respect for your sharp analysis whichever way the bellwether swings. WD43
Well said Peaky! Thank you for stating exactly my thoughts. Yes, maybe misplaced optimism on my behalf but Wolfe's operation has surmounted so many hurdles including strict environmental requirements and an ongoing determination to solve LFN. I acknowledge Richm's concerns about dilution and the 'not yet at near nameplate' - but turn around is not an instantaneous aspect of mining operation - the aspect that they have recognised the problems and put plans into operation to rectify is kudos to the current team and their professionalism. Most other Tungsten projects are several years from operation which is a strategic advantage to WLFE. Bear in mind that this mine has significant volume and a long life, a strategic resource quite unique here in the UK - it needs a hell of a lot of investment to bring into operation and it is significant that RCF is willing to bear that risk - so would I if I had a spare 55M in the back pocket. Being a pampered pensioner doesn't place me in that category - sigh! Good luck to all WD43
