The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Theyve (MM&BC) been playing for a pay off the whole way and clearly don't fancy their chances in court IMO.
Spamming the boards and social media with negativity, create downward pressure on the SP, disrupt drilling campaign, drum up negative sentiment from local communities, pay 2 bit news websites to run stories. Its been quite the campaign and I'm pleased we've held out and its based on the assertions of a complete chancer.
All this over a 'worthless asset'.....hmmm yeah right.
I think this weekend was their last throw of the dice. The concerted efforts from the now banned posters to create doubt and discontent amongst current shareholders and to try and discredit NvS didnt work and hasnt forced a deal.
We havent folded and we've called their bluff and low and behold, when its come time to show their hand, the court case has been delayed once again due to a no show, this time through alleged illness of BC.
You can see now why Nick didnt want to pay these guys off. Absolute chancers.
I actually feel bad for Zack and Smith as i get the impression they only want whats best for local community. Unfortunately they've been taken in by Mushy's stories and have taken him at his word. Which by now is hopefully becoming clear, isnt worth squat.
Anyone running a sweep stake? 15 minute slots from 9am as to when the weekends drivel and a clutch of posters get removed from the board?
I'm going 9.15-9.30am slot. Give the LSE time to grab their coffee and get logged on :)
Have you seen? Its pretty clear evidence IMO.
Theyve found Elvis on Mars.
Its in the Express, so must be true right?

Not only that but but my shower gets clogged with hair ALL the time, and NvS hasn't once offered to clean it out. Can you believe it? I mean I'm a shareholders ffs. Show some heart!
??
They will now pivot onto a new line of potential negativity. Dont engage. Report if it warrants it or use the ignore function and be your own admin.
See how fast they disappear with a couple of weeks without a bite.
Can you manage it?
I'm resigned to it being a loss making year this year but i dont think that lessens the case for this being a strong investment from these levels.
We've still made progress and learned a lot of lessons. We cant control the Vanadium price, but moving into next year i think its a simple question of Do we think the demand for Vanadium globally goes up next year or down?
Do we see our production levels improving and therefore driving costs down?
And obviously this is purely focused on the mining side of the business and ignores any added value from BE.
I think we've just endured the toughest H1 we're going to face as a business and rightly the SP has struggled as a result. Pandemic, exchange rates, maintenance, strikes and vanadium price all worked against us.
However, we've weathered that storm and production is up, vanadium price is now profitable at a higher production level than previously and we're well on the way to further improvements in production and our own electrolyte facility.
I'm frustrated but we needed to come through this period to realise our future ambitions. At our current market cap, provided vanadium prices keep above cost and production stabilises and continues to improve we look like a very good investment.

Confirmed troll, no balance, filtered. You can smell the desperation.
Need the assays and some further (positive) drill results would be good.
Provided good assays, and no reason to suspect they will not be, then i think the fun starts with confirmation of commercial discussions (potentially even an offer for license or whole company).
Exciting Q4 ahead but first hurdle cleared, they've found the (MASSIVE) sulphides. Now lets find some more and really get this baby cooking.
Don't get distracted by the noise. Its being created to undermine your confidence in the absence of any recent updates from the company themselves.
Its very simple. We have an asset coming online next year that more than underpins the current valuation and strong indications that the others assets could be Tier 1 potential.
The government wants investment to unlock its natural resources and bring money into the country.
The majors want exposure to favourable green energy metals.
We're an absolute minnow. Who do you think gets their way here?
The lucky thing for us, is that any level of reasonable investment from a major values our company at vastly higher levels than we are currently.
Prove up a tier 1? Its blue sky time.
But, bit of realism, from what I've heard from people better informed than me we'd need more than one drill season for that.
But as I said, good drill results, some comfort for any major looking to invest and you're already looking at 4x 5x current SP.
