AA tried a cheeky pre drill offer, we backed our drill to find the copper.

We could have stuck on 16, we've just hit 21.

Does this now underpin a £200m mcap with more news to follow?

Prime example... dont bite.

Don't get distracted by the noise. Its being created to undermine your confidence in the absence of any recent updates from the company themselves.

Its very simple. We have an asset coming online next year that more than underpins the current valuation and strong indications that the others assets could be Tier 1 potential.

The government wants investment to unlock its natural resources and bring money into the country.
The majors want exposure to favourable green energy metals.
We're an absolute minnow. Who do you think gets their way here?
The lucky thing for us, is that any level of reasonable investment from a major values our company at vastly higher levels than we are currently.
Prove up a tier 1? Its blue sky time.
But, bit of realism, from what I've heard from people better informed than me we'd need more than one drill season for that.
But as I said, good drill results, some comfort for any major looking to invest and you're already looking at 4x 5x current SP.

...dont be an easy meal for them trying to play on your nerves.
The last update we had was positive. We've had nothing to contradict that since. Dont read into what isn't there.

I also just want to add that I think there's something here for everyones investment preference. I think extremely near term (weeks) we're looking at anything from high teens to 25p ish. But if you have an appetite for a longer term investment we could be looking at 5-10x that if you want the ride through drilling and proving up potentially multiple tier 1 assets.
Back drop of copper boom, already promising drill results, world class partner etc.

Deals done IMO. Price agreed and legals being signed off between Rothschild and AA legal team. Negotiation phase is over and the delay is just paperwork and t's and c's getting sorted. Can imagine there's quite a bit needs to be done with this process so not surprised its taking a few weeks post Rothschilds appointment.
Nicks been working with AA on this for nearly a year, all positive noises along the way, he used to work for them so will likely know the people. He has his preferred partner, they're clearly offering a good deal (JV cash for stake IMO) I don't think its anywhere near as frictious or hard nosed a relationship as some are guessing at.
Theyre drilling because why wait? Wasting everyone's time, they have the cash to crack on. Everyone benefits from positive outcome. Accelerate when they get the final sign off and funds from AA.
All IMO of course. Not long to wait now.

Doesn't take long to read the last few RNS's.

Seen some speculation on here about whether the alignment of accounting dates is a clue to JV or TO.
Surely its more of a nod to a JV of some sort? If you're going to buy a company why would you need to align dates as the previous entity isnt going to exist any more.

Could be wrong though, would be good if someone has any previous examples to reference.

The other thing i'd say is that we've been working with these guys for a while now, sharing data and talking constantly.
They will have been talking potential numbers. So anyone concerned about a low ball offer i think can forget about it.
I'd like to think the BOD would have ended any agreement if they thought Anglo were going to take the proverbial....

That said there will need to be value left for Anglo, but i think with the size of the assets £250M still leaves plenty on the table for Anglo, Arguably £500M-1Bn still leaves plenty of value when you look at what we've potentially got.

I need to do more research and to be honest i dont think its helpful talking about 'top ranges' as i think it sets a false expectation. I'm also not interested in ramping this share as i'm holding until we're taken out so happy to sit and hold and let the BOD do their work.
I only really posted as saw a couple of notes suggesting 8p which is frankly ridiculous. The risk reward at 8p just doesnt stack up for anyone.
For me Sentinel has set the base and people should work on that basis. Anything north of that will be a bonus. And listen, it could well be north of that due to the quality of the assets (plural) we have and now definitely on the start of the upswing of a much talked about commodity super cycle.
Anglo know the asset as well.

There's a hell of a lot working in our favour here. 25p absolute minimum.

When First Quantum bought Kiwara (Sentinel) for £208M in Jan 2010 copper was $6,600 p/t. Its now pushing $8,000.
Our resource is better than Sentinel.

I think bidding 'starts' at £250M, so approx 25p a share.

This kind of exploration is high risk, high reward and for me the risk has just been almost completely removed.
As an investor you'll have 10 of these and only 1 or 2 will pay off. But when they do.... BOOM!

Ramp over but people need to reset their expectations here. The good news is its largely out of the traders MM's hands now. Just sit on it and have faith our BOD will go for max value.

What is the impact on the SP from the demerger at the start of this week?
Was the drop due to company effectively splitting? if so how much was 'organic' decline and how much was due to the demerger?

Hi, quick question if anyone knows the answer that'd be great. I have an IG account with a long position open for TILS. This was open before the split. My stop loss levels have adjusted, but not my open price, so after the 'fall' in price it shows a big loss, when I don't think it should.
Has anyone else experienced this?
