News reports of individual cinemas MAY close are bringing in the public because they do not want their local cinema to close down plus the domino effect it has on surrounding venues !
Movies are coming in thick and fast
They are bringing in young and old male and females and with collaboration with other entertainment places things should improve big time .
They need to change the mind set of movies being too expensive which is the narrative of the movie sticks ‘ pusher !
Make an example by demanding harsher sentences on people that break the law !
Meanwhile Cine can start printing money by being inventive and in turn the lenders might give them more time because let’s face it fewer businesses are borrowing money now surly?
You say income isn’t covering expenses!
Do you have proof of this ? I assume you are talking about the ‘ whole ‘ company ?
Moocky should try and cough up some money and pay off some more of the debt !
Forget the youngsters who are going to the movies in their 1000’s
Check out the success that is Champions Brilliant
I hope they can manage to pay yet another chunk of the debt this month or the next !
They are reducing prices for 4DX and imax !
Go on Cine ! You know you can print money !
You know Cine paid off 1 billion recently .What would the market reaction be if they paid off another billion in the next two months ?
I’ve read somewhere that during Covid lockdowns millions started writing books and I’m sure some of these will filter through as future block buster movies … good times on the way !
So invest in the future
No they do know that more women go to he movies then men
Millions will be watching I wanna dance with somebody: Whitney Houston !
It is a winner ! Do not miss !
And I’m sure no need to tell this to Americans !
Yes there is an other way ! Stop the likes of Mark Kermond ridiculing a multimillion and great production that is Avatar 2 !
Can’t the movie studios not see the madness ?
They spend millions promoting a movie weeks in advance , then give the critics ( for free?) the chance to kill it before a single paying customer had a chance to watch it !
Not many are brave enough to go against these so called experts !
I say let them wait and pay like everyone else !
I’m convinced! Movie Studios should leave it to word of mouth !
I just watched Mark Kermond rubbishing Avatar 2 !
I swear I will not watch him ever again !
In the age of social media like FB and Twitter they don’t need to let critics watch before anyone else !
Unless of course Mark was using reverse phycology !
Looking forward to watching it for the third time !
I think studios should rethink the practice of letting newspapers and cinema critics having previews of their movies !
What is the point of spending millions on advertising to have some idiot ( probably with an agenda ) to give Avatar 2 just one star ?!
I have people telling me when I ask them if they are going to see it that it’s rubbish !
Simply going by what newspapers have to say !
Cineworld card holders are the best critics !
Btw Do Not Miss Avatar 2 truly stunning .Well done Cameron !!
Get your Xmas boxes for Avatar before they run out and yes they are a bargain !!

I think the company should start talking about the possibility of dividends in the near future to take care of all this shorting going on !?
Could it be a bigger depreciation of assets ?
