Chris Heminway, Exec-Chair at Time To ACT, explains why now is the right time for the Group to IPO. Watch the video here.
Fossilised, iv never shorted in my life, although I currently have zero exposure to any stocks. With regards to my 262 prediction, this was just a random number that I predicted on a random date. In fact I don't believe it will go that low. If however the sp reaches 295 I'll be back in
Might also be hitting 262 on negative trend live, bottom of the channel on 21st May at around 2.32 pm
Well firstly there's no scrip so have to manually reinvest or settings with your broker, second, dividends aren't paid till next month... most brokers revieve dividends then wait till between 15th and 25th of the month to reinvest.
Xel (xcite energy) was my worst, was up 15k in a day at one point, then a downward treat to nothing from there. Nbnk was another bad one for me.
My worst investment decisions more recently seem to be selling too early. Sold gkp for a 2-3k profit, but if I kept in that would have been 19k profit only a month or so on
£3.14
Starting with $500 mil but with intention to align buy back distributions to dividend payments (4 billion per year)
Competitors raising dividends may encourage bp to follow suit. Although I'd rather they air on the side of caution and let things bounce back further with regards to the covid situation.
Good to see the buy backs commence, I hope bp follow suit and start to report green energy profits separately. This should provide encouragement to potential investors with regards to future income
10% rise gives me the win... I feel that's achievable. More importantly the continues buying pressure from buy backs should give us a steady rise over the next month or so
Im glad your not in management. Alot of people rely on income from there shares, completely cancelling the dividend would be irresponsible and totally unwarranted. Paying the debt down gradually while maintaining the new level of dividend is much more reasonable don't you think? Besides, cancelling the dividend for 6 months would only save the company around 2 billion when the debt level is at 35 bill
Thefd, I believe looney said he expects buy backs to total a similar return as dividends, so roughly 4 billion for the year
It was never about saving every person, or we would be in lockdown every winter when flu is most dangerous. Now that most UK adults will have been offered the vaccine things will be back to the new normal. No further lockdowns imo
Should be a solid blue day, adr finished well and brentvhas pushed on from there. 27th next week, can hardly contain my excitement.... this time next week rodders!
I believe he was referring to the motley fool, who print 3 articles on the same subject with 3 differing predictions then claim they got it right. I personally don't waste my time reading them
Usually 12 month target price
3.26
*Low not love
I'd love to see the buy back completed quickly at this love sp and a further commitment to reduce debt by another 5 billion, to initiate further buy backs
Pang its not really off topic talking about vaccines and uptake of said vaccine as this is fundamental to the reopening of domestic and world economies and as such the effect on demand for oil
Cosm read the side effects of paracetamol... one of them is death. But it's such a tiny percentage the benefits outway the risks. But that's an individual personal choice
