Do you think freeh must report to the market after counting every single bundle of cash they come across? Unless, there is a devastating discovery, there is no need to report every little task they complete. Detailed report will be compiled once a through investigation has taken place and reported to the market.....

Now, the world stock market revolves around insider information. Offers may not be at NMCs table BUT, the bidders own offices have financial experts churning out what should be starting or even max bid for NMC. And it could insiders from their spreading the rumours.

I am not saying that is the case here but this kinda krap happens all the time

I guess what these guys are saying is, behind closed doors, not yet in public domain, the offers on the table are probably not in the range they expect. Just their thought...

Whereas, I believe sp will recover to 20 plus by result time and it has nothing to do with bid talk, just good old fashioned sp recovery from dramatic falls over the last couple of months

If you think nmc is genuine and has fallen victim to bad publicity, then hold you positions

If on the other hand you think they are a crook, then short the $hit out of it.

As for me, I believe nmc has suffered enough and will now come good. I am therefore holding my position till sp hits my target of £20. I dont give a monkey about who thinks what......:-))

Calamari, Just so you know, net assets can never be below zero. That's simply net liability.... I think you are, in anger that nmc is in the green today, talking out of your back side.

Shares arrangements /transfers got Jack to do with company performance - which NMC keeps stating is STRONG, results will be excellent and bidders will be asked to pay decent premium for a company that has excellent financials.

If u have managed to sell all your holding at 13.90, then rest assured MMs have full intention of selling that back to u or whoever else trys to buy back, at a higher price. Good luck all :-))
