It seems that the Lithium price rise is causing concern for EV battery projects. This gives confidence that Ilika's strategy of going miniature first was the right one. Less lithium required, high margin and few competitors.
34 million shares traded means that shares equal to approx 1/3 of value of Genedrive were bought and sold. However it means nothing. It could have just been a computer trading 1 share at a time. Big fluctuations attract the traders.

Hexagon Purus 96% increase in Q3 TO, announced today, underlines rising sales in hydrogen market. Hexagon makes storage cylinders for hydrogen.
If current run rate continues, final results will be 33.3% better than previous year, not 25%, as I instinctively first thought.

Looks like HMG thinks Grephene is a strategic material. This may reflect on Haydale
I believe that Kromek's bio threat detector is based on Oxford Nanopore's Minion technology. Oxford Nanopore has an upcoming IPO of several billions. An announcement about success/launch/order would be helpful.
UK testing for Covid is a complete shambles. returned from Gibraltar on 21st June, Took returning mandated PCR test from RT Diagnostics on 23rd. Still no result, but my daughter, living in Gibraltar, is being sent messages, by UK Test and Trace, that she has been in contact with a Covid case.
I am presently considering adding to pension fund holding in Thruvision and thinking of new uses for the technology. There are only 117 prisons in UK, so not much of a potential market, but there are over 6000 in the US. Prison security is a major problem, with smuggling in of mobiles and drugs. Great potential and outweighs border security, may even approach warehouse and distribution.
The Markman decisions clear the language used by Nanoco in four of the five patents in question. Even if Samsung has only employed Nanoco's technology covered by one claim in one patent, they lose. I have not checked Nanoco's patents in this case, but patents average 10 to 20 claims.
The significance of David Newlands spread bet addition to his holdings is that he used to be chairman of Imperial Innovations, so should be up on any scientific technology and business opportunities.
This is a trademark application not a patent filing and is irrelevant to Nanoco's business or Patents.
ANGLE plc (AIM:AGL OTCQX:ANPCY), a world-leading liquid biopsy company, will be releasing its preliminary results for the year ended 31 December 2020 on Thursday 29 April 2021.
As a taxpayer I am more than disappointed with the performance of Condor, which was granted £1.3 million in June 2020 to speed up evaluation of Covid tests. I have checked back on their siteregularly since the end of last year - Nothing has been added since early january 2021. They still say that they are evaluating 12 tests, 4 have failed, 4 passed and 4 are still being evaluated. The number of volunteers has stayed at 2853 since December. The only output result is a paper summarised in the following.
Quote - We are part of a national partnership who were recently awarded £1.3M from the NIHR, UK Research and Innovation, Asthma UK and British Lung Foundation to form CONDOR (the COVID-19 National DiagnOstic Research and Evaluation Platform). Through the platform we are robustly evaluating new COVID-19 tests in hospitals and the community.
Working with our CONDOR collaborators we interviewed 16 clinicians from 12 NHS Trusts across England. They represented 10 different specialisms covering urgent, acute and elective admissions. Interviewees shared their key lessons learned from the pandemic so far and their thoughts on where and when rapid tests for COVID-19 could have the most benefit.
I don't know if this has been posted before. If so I apologize. Could be important market for IQE lasers.

Quote - Standard Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy, which uses conventional light sources, could soon be replaced by chemical analyses based on infrared lasers. Given the much higher intensity of laser light, the latter method should be more sensitive and precise, and should therefore yield more detailed and informative characterizations of the molecular constituents of blood. The physicists in the attoworld team, led by Prof. Ferenc Krausz, are now working on the laser technologies necessary to achieve this aim. Exposure to intense infrared light causes molecules to vibrate and emit light at specific frequencies, which depend on the chemical structures of the molecules within the sample. Analysis of the components of the resulting spectrum of electromagnetic oscillations enables researchers to assign them to the many types of molecules present in body fluids. As Prof. Krausz and colleagues reported last year, the new method allows minuscule amounts of different classes of molecules to be spectroscopically detected (Nature, 2. January 2020; doi 10.1038/s41586-019-1850-7)
Drew Nelson, plus several family members, were appointed as directors of Newport Wafer Fab Ltd on 21/2/2021. I did not investigate ownership. No time
Scamp , You ask "Who mentioned anything about copyright?"
YOU mentioned copyright. You pasted text which specifically refers to, and mentions the word "copyright" in the paragraph about "fair use". "Fair use" can be a defense in a copyright case, but there is no concept of "fair use" in patent law, although there have been discussions about introducing it where a patent holder refuses to license essential technology.
Scamp. What is the point of copying and pasting this text about copyright? We are dealing with patent infringement. Furthermore patent infringement is not a crime under US or English law, although in this case we might wish it was..
I ordered some masks online. Two day delivery by post. Good packaging. Excellent fit and easy to breath through. My glasses did not fog.
[Order #3785210938] (08/02/2021). this is the same date as Chazwalker's order reported here last Saturday and indicates more than 500 orders per day.
Every penny counts, so don't say "so what"
