Hopefully this is Outrider agreeing to a compromise…. Fingers crossed!
After looking at this yesterday, it seems to me that we are trying to force Mourant into settling their case asap, since the alternative could be catastrophic for their firm if we actually won this case. All part then of our attempts to tidy things up before the big reveal. I think we are a bit closer to the end.
Quite how they can calculated $280000000 is another matter….
Thanks also from me Looed
Posted by Looed, regarding when we might hear something from the company:

Lifeishard - I would hope well before year end!
What’s your view now Looed? Are you still hopeful that we will have news soon and before year-end? I think a lot here are probably expecting this to rumble on past Christmas, so I’d be interested to discover your latest thoughts. I know you have said you’ll not be able to reveal some news until after an agreed date has past, but just wondering whether your expected deadline has now drifted a tad.
BTW, I’ve not emailed the company for a while now, as they have never responded, but I still look in on this BB every day looking for an update.
Thanks in advance
Phil
No real news I’m afraid. JimSlade has had further communication from the company https://www.lse.co.uk/profiles/jimslade/ and Looed has recently stated that he has agreed with the company to keep certain information secret for a period of time https://www.lse.co.uk/profiles/looed/. So despite the fact that most of us agree completely with everything you say in your post, we are all still holding on and hoping that the progress promised in these limited communications will finally turn out to deliver the kind of deals for which we all invested in FRR in the first place. None of us are enjoying the wait, but we have no choice.

I vaguely remember that some time ago you said you were based in Taiwan and seeing today’s news of an earthquake in Taiwan, I just wanted to make sure that you are safe.
Apart from the first employee, they all seem to still have the old frontera email address :(

I would like to echo the thoughts of Lifeishard: please keep posting for all sakes.
Tsbs - I understand your frustration completely but it is the company that has let us down, not individual shareholders.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken said the U.S. intended to send another $2 billion in long-term support to Ukraine and other countries in the region.
The State Department said the $2 billion package, which will be drawn from pools of money already authorized by Congress but whose specific allocation Congress must approve, would be divided roughly in half between Ukraine and 18 other nations. They are Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Greece, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.

Force Majeure was mentioned in the US courts and FRC stated that they had claimed it as a direct result of the covid crisis. It effectively lengthens the PSA by the time that was lost. Looed suggested by around 18 months. We have to hope we are now using the additional time to progress our claim of huge reserves! On Monday Chris572 said that he’d seen evidence of someone claiming to be a Chief Exploration Advisor for FRC as from November 2021 to the present day. Fingers crossed.
Great video Coggy
I am biased Seingred. So is the paper I read.
You are biased . So is the paper you read, whatever it may be.
My lol was at the assertion that the Guardian was unbiased, which still makes me laugh. No need to respond - let’s agree to disagree, if that’s still allowed :) No hard feelings.
Cheers for the update Cymro and Looed, even if it is one of nothing to report. I agree though Cymro that it really is time for the company to speak with us asap.
Well said Dulwichman. Is there anything to report here Looed, Cymro, others?
Things have gone very quiet regarding Frontera. Has anyone heard anything? I feel jealous of you guys who knew each other from the shareholder meetings, who now have each other’s phone numbers etc, able to share information, and like now, in times of zero information, still able to chat privately. For those of us going through this nightmare of a share on our own, it can be very difficult. Hence my occasional despondent posts and my frequent calls out to the sleuths for news. Good luck all.

RR presumably likes to watch GB news as it confirms his view of the world. Left leaning liberals like to watch Channel 4 news and read the Guardian for the same reason, just from a different perspective. To suggest otherwise completely misunderstands the way we all choose our sources of news. Channel 4 news is biased, but I concede that for anyone who views the world from a leftist viewpoint, it will come across as being perfectly reasonable and unbiased. The problem (in my opinion) with many on the left is that they assume that only they know the answers to the big questions of the day and that anyone who challenges their view of the world is a bigot. Hence the woke culture and the cancel culture that we see today. The world is more nuanced than they are willing to contemplate.
The same “only my view is possibly correct” thinking leads Americans to vote for Trump and Muslim ideologues to hate the west. They can’t all be right, even if in the words of Dylan, they all have God on their side.
For reference, I don’t watch GB news as on the few times I did catch it , everything about it was poor. It may have improved since then, but I wouldn’t know.
ODR’s suggestion that Channel 4 News is unbiased is the biggest lol of the day :) :) :)
The Gambler - many thanks for the update.
Lifeishard - this certainly looks like new news to me. To be honest, By now, I had expected that all of Zaza’s court battles in the US to be done and dusted by now and that instead he’d be concentrating his efforts in Georgia. What we as shareholders really now want is evidence of our success in Georgia. When/if we finally learn of our success there will be the time when hopefully we can start to celebrate and we will finally be updated by the company. It can’t come soon enough, as the near 4 year wait has been appalling for all of us.
Good find Chris. That sounds more encouraging.
Thanks Looed. I’ve just emailed the company asking for clarification.

At least 2 things have changed (although not necessarily since then). Firstly, the original date of the block 12 licence has expired. We claimed force-majeure, but have never been told if it was accepted. Looed stated that in his view we merely had to state that force-majeure had taken place, but this was never confirmed. Secondly, Frontera Eastern Georgia was the original holder of the licence (belonging to Hope) prior to the attempted switching of the licence to FRUS. This was approved by the US courts and Looed said that the Georgian’s had agreed to abide by the US courts, but again we don’t know. So it’s possible that the name Frontera Eastern Georgia was removed for this reason, but you would have expected FRUS to have taken its place if this was indeed the case.
It could be an admin error of course and indeed this was claimed in the US court as the reason why FRUS wasn’t seen on the GOGC documents over a year ago.
I agree that we need some urgent clarification regarding this matter asap.
