Interesting that they didn't advertise for the business development role (I don't think), also interesting that they still attended bio23 anyway, i.e. sounded like Crossley and co. took any negotiating rein's perhaps in lieu.

Is that the first public interview from Crossley? He's kept a very low profile since starting. Although to be fair it sounds like he's been pulling the strings/getting things ship shape, and much needed IMO.

Long Radio silence isn't unusual for Scancell as we know, what is unusual (perhaps) is long radio silence when there clearly is a huge amount going on/on-going in the background, and at a pace, i.e. trials, trails being fully recruited, partnering conferences etc.

It does point to something, what & when though is the question.

A very good point, IMO big pharma will be and have been watching Scancell very closely. In fact IMO I think we can safely assume discussions are going ongoing.

Probably not a significant or hugely related thing but yes, Chinook were a part of the bio23 "Companies in the Partnering System", not just a regular attendee. (As were Scancell).

Novartis were obviously in attendance due to their size.

But IMO it feels like pen would have been put to paper at the conference and announced today.

Perhaps Scancell team waiting to settle back in the UK before they announce anything :)
