I think each to their own re individual holdings. What's a big holding for one might be small for another. The point is we're all holders and share the same goal. Thanks Dcat for your post and kind words. I used to moan a lot about Ortac in those days but actually i've just always posted how i see things and that'll continue. At least a few of us could see the potential here which is now starting to come to fruition.

Dat - i sincerely hope you manage to accumulate a pension through ARCM which will give you a good alternative to a final salary scheme. I too will be attending, work permitting. It's not easy in my profession to get the odd day off but i'll be doing my best, I'm hopi my 600,000 shares (so far) will leave e a little more comfortably off.

Thanks Soul. I do know Ma5k is a respected chartist. I guess it shows positive possibilities and predictions but i still think support for now is the key. Strength in the early 30's could see us move up - weakness dipping below 30p could see us move towards the 22p broker target, Always a trading opportunity thought with volatility.

Excellent railride - at least you're thinking about "how much and why". Soul I didn't see the chart you mention but I agree charts can provide decent information as to where a sp might go to and indeed whether it's a good idea to invest now or not as the case may be.

I currently use charts to back up my investing/trading. I've traded here within a small band twice over the last couple of days. I didn't trade today but ill keep looking here for the future. It's good there seems to be some support around the 33/34 level. Certainly if we stay above the 30p mark then i'll look to trade again. Sentiment is everything for me and it's good this has been positive. Some will disagree with me but the broker note quoting 22p has had a negative influence. I've heard all the various opinions of broker notes. I actually take only a little note of them, BUT they do have an influence. There's a reason for broker notes.

The spectre of 22p will be in the back ground whether we like ti or not and my personal opinion is that this will temper any meteoric rise, News has bee the result of this dropping through the floor and news will be the reason for this to move up again. So technically this isn't a dead cow and has a future n the industry. It's challenging times but FOOT is making a profit. For me this is a long term hold or a short term trade as an when the opportunity might present itself. I probably won't be in here for long but will keep trading as and when the price allows.

i still can't see the point of these ridiculous/ crazy sp predictions. 50p here 70p there. What are you doing? Just picking figures out of thin air? If you guys put some meat on the bones and say why you think it'll be 50p within a week then it's more of a discussion point, but until you do that you're all just labelled as rampers, which is not compliment..

Storngman - i wouldn't best sure the selling is ally gone. the next few days will tell and then possibly the traders will move in for a quick 10%. I firmly believe the value here sin a long term investment.

Actually my personal thoughts about sp movement (no i'm not going to give anyhting away!) is that i'll wait for the initial results on drill one and see what this does to the sp. I can then make an educated guess as to what the other 8 might do to the sp.

I've never really been one to quote sp predictions but i'm looking at us going into double figure, certainly by the end of the year. Then after that if the bidding war for us turns into a blood bath then think ti's just a matter of sitting back and watching our holdings rise!

I'm assuming majors (and the City for that matter) would rather pay x + 1 of a share price with tangeble assets known as opposed to pay x share price when still technically in the exploration phase. As has been said many times before, this is still very cheap. If i had the guts i'd just be invested in ARCM, but I have to keep a little bit of a level head and spread my risk a little. Having said all that, for me i still have a very large holding. For others probably not so big, but each to their own.

Nolupus - If they don't have a long term strategy then the BOD's are not work a penny to the company. Of course they have a long term strategy as has been seen by the RNS. Open drug on a further testing programme plus there has to be a partner (possible buyout) to move things forward. That's all going to take more than a week!!! Hence long term

To be fair though, the BOD's must have known about all this when they made the statement about current cash balances covering the next drug programme.

Totally agree it's good for Lupus sufferers. An unlicensed drug is better than none.

Yes a partner is the only way forward imo for us and it'll be a long haul. I still feel we will be required to contribute though hence my quote about a possible long term fund raise needed.

Nolupus - whilst the proposed programme will be self funded, its my opinion that this programme alone won't be enough to get the drug licensed for sale. I believe another P3 trial will be required and therefore further funding.

scoredagainsteps - then RNS does state the proposed programme will be paid from the company's current cash position. In my view, any result still won't give definitive approval for the product to be sold on the market, so long term i can see further find raises.
