I know this has been said before re Wressle but i thought i'd add my comments. So the appeal has been rejected because the inspectorate didn't have enough information above and beyond the original application in order to approve things. Now if that had been Joe Bloggs appealing why his conservatory planning had been rejected again, then I could have understood it. But this sin't JB, it's a professional PLC, so i'm disappointed that UJO didn't employ someone competent enough to ensure we are not now in this situation. So we really need to pull our fingers out here and do what the inspectorate has advised and all should be ok. Quite honestly it HAS to be approved next time or i'll label this company as a bunch of incompetents and will sell immediately. At the moment, i'm viewing this as a setback. Pull your finger out UJO BOD's!!

Morning all.So i go away for a few days and my investment has lost 25%! I'm used to the massive swings in aim so no surprise on the news I'm a little disappointed in the directors for not putting forward a more water tight application as this set back has obviously delayed things. I know Wressle is only one string to the UJO bow but it's still an important one. I'll add shortly as there's still a big upside here imo.

I should add, i know there were placing/funding issues, but here's a good asset there so surely once this is overcome then more value should be realised?

Gents - apologies for butting in here but just doing some research as i cannot believe the current sp. You seem to have a producing mine in Columbia with a decent BOD's. I'm thinking of taking a position here but what have i missed? Why the .40p sp? it was nearing 25p to so long ago! Thanks

I too don't like the spread. Large spreads are normally due to low volume but on the other hand it deters sellers. I'll add here when the spread narrows and before Wressle news, which hopefully will be positive. But if not, it;s not the end of the world in my book ad Bisacthorpe looks promising as well.

Grahambarnes - I take my hat off to you for your investment and sincerely hope you'll soon at least get your money back and with something on top as well. I'm comparatively new to SHG but have been investing for many years. I too agree with previous comments in that the management seem very genuine and sincere which I put a lot of weight to when investing. I tend not to do predictions as anyone can pick a figure out of thin air, but i'd like to see us reaching last years highs, so i have something around 10p+ as my 'get out'. Naturally that might change depending on the situation at the time. This really seems a decent bb so good luck to all holders.

ALB1 - Brilliant. So in short instead of 70p we're apish and suspended! Oh but still without lithium! Now I know why i listen to very few on here!

Delighted with todays movement. We are most definitely still under the radar but if this upward movement continues then I can see us attracting a lot of attention. I'm really looking forward to 2018. Not the biggest holder here but very happy with my position.

Indeed CC. This will take time so patience is needed here. Hopefully soon though we can reap 100% of what CASA has to offer. Some might ridicule me (they're now on filter) but a respected broker did use the words "multiples" of the current sp. They might be working for us but they're not going to tell an outright lie, so I do think their view holds some weight.

It's interesting in that article that words "transform" and "significant" are mentioned in relation to Wressle. Couple that with the potential of Biscathorpe, then you have an exciting future for UJO

Fair point ARahim re further dilution but they're still going to need more cash going into the 2nd half of this year, So i guess loan facilities is the other option. I agree Sturec isn't 'dead i the water' as such but only in that they won't be throwing any more cash at it and will look to sell - possibly.

i'm waiting long term for a double bagger and hopefully more than that. I feel OTC will need to raise more cash though in 2018 which might hold us back a bit with the dilution.

Further to my previous comments I do of course realise that Wressle is only one string to UJO's bow so i wouldn't say the whole future of the company is out of their hands. But it would be nice for Wressle to be approved.

Many thanks Silliv. Yes tassels always at the ready for any of my stocks that will make a twirl worthwhile! Part of my reason for investing here was anticipating Wressle might be approved. It's a gamble but then isn't most investing a gamble of sorts.

It's always worth looking at old ground. The podcast contained comments confirmed in the recent RNS about Sturec intentions and the fact we will concentrate on our African assets.

personally i think the new BOD's are focused on bigger prizes, hence the RNS wording. They were pretty quick to go ahead with the 100% owning of CASA which they see as providing bigger rewards.
