FX - you’re right in that 10 is a small percentage of the field. Sadly AST don’t have the resources ( without dilution or other funding ) to realise the asset. It’s still there in the ground though as an asset so my only view is that the SR HAS to come up with a solution be it JV or TO. Personally I don’t care about the future of AST or the BOD’s and can see either of these two options for me standing a chance of getting my money back. I actually have no idea what the field valuation could be translated into a sp after a buyer discount has been applied. I’ve wasted too much time and money here and if you said I’d get my money back next week/month then I’d bite your hand off. I’m in at 1.6p so anything more then that would be a bonus.

Increased my holding here today as well. Will trade again if the opportunity presents but as has been said before, here for a 50% loss or 100% gain. Hoping it's the latter!!!

So where do we go from here? SP at rock bottom and showing no signs of recovering. Maybe good news around the corner with IPPC and some sort of success with PG11a. Also jv/to update. Any/all of those will move the sp onwards. Equally PG11a might have more setbacks. The AGM is getting close now so the next opportunity to put Colin on the spot is then. Probably the next (and only) opportunity to get face to face with him and let him know pi's annoyance.

It is yes Bradis. But I guess that's the case with every stock. Whenever full ask/bid is paid the bid/offer will invariably change as well. Try googling bid/offer spread. I;m no expert

Of course Stockdale. I;m just saying a large spread is associated with low volumes. Look at the last few days trades/volume

Bradis - Generally a larger bid/ask spread is associated with a stock being illiquid and low volumes. AST has had comparatively low volumes recently. It's the MM's trying to maximise their profits when there's not many trades. Expect the spread to narrow as and when volume picks up
