RE: For what its worth ...31 May 2018 17:45
Very good FX and a good read for all holders here.
I've been doing some hard thinking as well and trying to look at positives here. The big positive to me is that the asset is still there in the ground. that hasn't changed. That asset alone should be worth a lot more than 0.80p. We all know the setbacks and it really seems the management have lost touch with its share holders.
I'd like to refer to another stock i'm in which i won't name but until recently it went by another name. It was going nowhere, a few of the normal cranks on the bb's we're saying it would go bust and such like. Why did I invest a couple of years ago there? Because I could see the asset was there and it needed to be managed better. So the story moves on and there was a name change, fresh CEO who promptly brought in his own fresh team and I guess to put it bluntly, kicked some arse.
The same asset is still there but with a fresh approach at the helm, the shareholders are now seeing a lot of value with hopefully a lot more to come. I'm not saying the same can happen here (well I hope it does) but I'm just trying to show that a change of BOD's and someone new with new drive and vigour at the top can transform us. I'll be voting in the hope colin and co won't be re-elected. AST still has a future and maybe this will be the way.
