Does that potentially mean 418% return on invested capital at $80 /BO?

Given that many pi’s have invested on the anticipated signing of the licence, to what extent is this already priced into the sp? Or, is the licence the key to unlocking investment by ii’s that will see the sp rise? There’s no doubt about the resource but it is two years to production. I would be grateful for opinions. My stake is modest but probably there for the duration.

This is AIM and punters will not put their money in whilst we have a timeline of a month to find out how the oil will be extracted: there are other opportunities out there to be had in the interim. The results will I think be key to derisking this play and rerating the price.; although the odds of success are good, it cannot be a cert. My opinion is that the sp will start to move up in anticipation of this announcement as the wait time reduces. All this said, I have had my money in from the 2.5p days and will continue to hold.

In comparison to the m/c, trading volume is insignificant and cannot be effecting the sp? Many shares here in sticky hands because the future of the company looks so good. Relatively easy to trade at the moment with a small spread, particularly for bigger punters who can buy and sell large amounts with minimal risk, and this might be preventing the rise. For investors such as myself, it’s a hold and wait, and try not to look at price fluctuations. One thing I don’t understand is why ‘the herd’ have not arrived given the short time frame to each piece of news (cs other shares), and the positive nature of their content.

Logging results quote “in the next few days”. Monday RNS? As Thebhoys says, casing already in place ready for production.

Two sentences from the Monday rns stand out for me:·

If MB has purchased $100k at 3.5p, he must be pretty sure that the price will rise from this baseline…

All that you say is correct SEA7. I was in Beaufort and they allegedly misused funds for their own purposes. My account was frozen for 10 months but I did get my stocks back at the end of that time. Naturally many of them had dropped in price. . I now use the share centre as all they do is broker trades so there is no conflict of interests. Let’s hope Block do the business

I am no oil expert but as a layman, my reading of the RNS is that they pumped 1200 barrels of water down there to drill the well so that has to come back up again (with the oil) and once this has happened, we will have just oil. The 300 bopd we currently have isn’t exactly a disaster, and it seems to me that there is every chance the well will eventually perform as expected. Please correct me if I’m wrong. For me, this is an easy hold and a great opportunity to average down. Can see this bouncing next week...might even get a further RNS on Monday.

gives timeline to spud...pi’s sell to make money elsewhere when they know it’s a month until news. Seen it so many times on AIM. Have to balance short term gains vs FOMO. Tricky to judge but that’s the game. GLA

Tried dummy buy and was quoted 6.25 so looks like today’s trades are buys not sells...

Bottom line we thought news would be here by now. No RNS equals no find (yet) because that is price sensitive info and would need to be reported. 40% chance of success is less than evens and folk are losing their bottle. Delays of news on AIM often spell trouble. But integrity of BOD makes this one different along with other irons in the fire. Still holding myself but having to change underware regularly. It’s a gamble with the potential for huge upside in the short term...if not it’s a bottom drawer job until the sp recovers. Only my opinion. Good luck to all whatever their strategy.

daily dream share. Tight spread and daily rises/drops returning to evens at day end. I’m not prepared to play that game as only a modest stake and don’t want to lose out when/if re-rate happens. But until that time, sp will stay depressed (despite fundamentals) as folk top slice and buy back in on the dips (no blame to them). Once people start holding due to FOMO on the bigger prize shares will be squeezed and price will go up. IMO. GLA

Speculation yes but figures anticipated in RNS I think

Am I correct that production will settle to 400bopd after 18 months c.$250K/month...and if so, even though these wells are fully funded, could the company be looking for further acquisitions (that might require finance), to grow their portfolio? Been had like this a few times on AIM so cautious now, although can be good longer term. But can delay return on investment. Invested and accept risk/reward.

Horrible. Just reread RNS 17 Jan and the one that caused the latest spike to reassure myself. It all looks good with promise of financing, production, and steady news flow. Folk have traded it and that’s usual but would have thought this was a good punt for investors also with not too long to wait for returns. Hoping sentiment will come back
