I took the div last year and got out at a losss(sp 98p). At the time I thought I might regret it.......time has shown I did the right thing

No good these intelligent financial geniuses moaning when pension funds join the bail out from the government queue because their capability to raise funds has been dwarfed because of this brilliant discussion. Seems everything’s got to be messed up ......things going too far ..... we have to be able to carry on after this virus has gone...... at this rate god help us all.

Strongly agree pension funds need to be protected......stopping divs IMO is not in the best interest of the nation. We have to remember there will be life after this virus has gone. Bringing in measures that undermine pension funds would be incompetent and reckless.

Remember the money the government is our hard earned cash that was taken from us in taxes etc. In my opinion businesses should have insurance to cover costs of this eventuality and so should the self employed. In future maybe insurance cover should be made compulsory so as our taxes and the government we pay don’t have to divert from the most important task of taking care of our nurses and doctors thus all our wellbeing’s. Avocet I totally agree with your fantastic post. We’re all doomed....nobody will make money buying on dips and selling on spikes , the sp will never recover in time, their pension pots will never recover. It’s good to see such a positive and factual post......well done we all believe you and will follow your directions
