Good Evening Chester, My attitude is I invest for fun and hope to make some pin money, not clever but most importantly make my own decisions what and when to invest. Had Lady Luck on my side for a while now so am a happy chap. I read this boards because there are and always will be opposite opinions, which in my view is a good thing because reading all views generally lead to a balanced opinion. IMO these boards are for posters who if they wish to can post their view and healthily debate with fellow posters. Come on post if you want to I for one will be invested to read your view……. Gla

Redhammy, it’s not a matter “deserve everything they got”. Most of us at sometime have taken a punt on a high risk share and lost out. More of a case of bad luck on this occasion and good luck in the future I hope each person who lost this time recoup and make more. Much better off in entering a working partnership with government to supply solar panels at a big subsidy perhaps by anyone wanting panels to agree to letting any electricity generated go to the national grid free in exchange for the up front subsidy. Win win in my opinion

Gas supply is essential and with lots of suppliers going under the government will be only too aware of the dangers of a big windfall tax

On 3rd May Mccoll’s did warn share suspension was likely. At that point there was an opportunity to heed the warning and sell or gamble on this not happening and SP rocketing. Sadly for those who gambled the gamble never paid off. Good luck in future investments I hope you recoup your loses soon.
