Whilst I admire your confidence, I respectfully suggest that having watched this share for some years. I have seen very, very many predictions here, and have seen very, very many be wrong. Just in case their are novice investors here I would suggest an additional comment of DYOR and that it is only IMHO.

The question is not deal or no deal, as a deal is inevitable if only to play down the effects on the markets. The real question are what’s in the deal? Does it include financial services? I seriously doubt it. So yes the investor may judge on the conclusion of negotiations, but the most savvy will be acting on the content of the negotiations.

I think we are in for big news this weekend, just a vibe I’m getting. I don’t think it’s going to be good either. Another mad dash to the market perhaps. Hopefully I’ve got my trail of thoughts messed up with me working a Friday night shift and all, but something tells me this weekend is the one we’ve been waiting for over 4years.

I think from the 2008 23p mark to the dizzy heights of 37p today would suggest perhaps we are in a very slightly better position, but by no means is there any added security to owning this share as there was pre 2008. That housing bubble is still being propped up as per HMG announcement today. There’s no more bullets in the clip unlike the few we had pre 2008. What do we have now that should give us a glimmer of hope should something like bubbles popping, war,another virus strain or Brexit etc happen. That is why I believe we are worse off than we were in 2008.

I simply use these forums as trying to gauge PIs sentiment. I do not take any financial advise from any posters. That is my sentiment on the current state of affairs, the risks here are definitely worse now thanks to COVID imho. If we are to now see inflationary pressure then the banking sector will no longer be benefiting from a rise in interest rates as assumed this time last year, they will now be exposed to yet even more bad debt. If you see any positives I would like to hear them as I am locked in here with a loss and would like to see the sp rise but I can’t see any silver lining here.

Banks globally are preparing for a surge in bad loans at a time when low interest rates aimed at rekindling economic growth have squeezed net interest margins. I personally can’t see the restoration of divis but can see the continued and raised percentage or two of a policy of protecting the bank from unforeseen circumstances. The huge 394bln is going to have to be paid back sooner rather than later and banks have now been put at huge risk now. I would argue that banks are now in a worse position than they were after 2008 in relation to risk.

Vel deal in commercial aviation so I doubt defence spending is anything to do with rise here.

Don’t get me wrong here, I remember the days of DCB. I don’t wish to come across as one of his sort. I’m just sick of the way banking sector is being run by everyone other than the banking sector. The influence and manipulation that HMG has over Lloy is still in existence even though we paid back our dues 10 fold. It’s about time the banking sector was left to flourish as I am sure it will once Covid19 and brexit are sorted. I’ve been around this for sometime. Any thinking that divis will arrive before 2022 need to give themselves a shake. The vaccine won’t be arriving until April at the earliest still a few phases left there and then business will still need funding from the banks until they recover to pre-pandemic levels around mid to late 22. That’s my method of thinking and am just waiting for my break even which is really close now then I’m out of this as the business the shareholders here are propping up will have an earlier rise in sp. I’m not deramping or whatever but have healed no justification for why divis will return anytime sooner. Just like I said had enough of this shares performance over the last few years.

Judging by that statement a novice investor can only conclude that my money would be better invested in the short term in the businesses that need to show a turn around in fortunes as they will ultimately be the first to show upwards on the sp. before banks can then start clawing investors money back and get their long overdue rise in sp. a growth in bad debt is hardly considered profitable in this nvestors eyes and hardly worthy of banking policy. Just a thought from a novice investor, and I am sure someone can school me here. I only have a relatively small holding here but am considering my options. Enough is enough here.

This example should be held on file and be taught in financial courses around the globe. Well I will be turning up and voting NO. I accept that I made a poor decision investing here. Not for the Sirius project but for lending CF and the crew my support. Where are the? Where are our answers? Why have we not been given details of other offers? Why was an equity raise not put to the vote of us the owners? Why are the board getting a substantial offer from AAL? Why did CF average down on 10k? I for one will not be voting in favour of this until I get answers. And I have a few to vote with.

I want more information provided on what the other possibilities were before this Avenue was explored. I and my wife have quite a few to vote with between us.
