That was in early 2yr ago. Now it seems it’s either generate energy with nuclear fuel rods to dispose of, or peoples things they dispose of to generate energy. This was also pre CC announcement if my memory serves me correct. Either/Or I’m not here for USK anyhow. I’m here for the green energy turbines side of the business which I personally believe has the most potential for the business. It would be preferable to get planning and become a world No 1 at converting old coal power stations but if they do not get planning permission I’m sure the site itself could be turned to alternative uses. A good old google earth visit tells me the site has potential to become a transportation hub for the big turbines via boat or rail to mainland Europe. In effect we could have both a base in the north and in the south of the UK which allows us easy networking and transporting of our main product around the globe. Japan info should be interesting. Magenta needs to get the AR500 x 4 running ASAP. Anyone have any idea when they are planned to get Mygen back up and running?

That the UK is expendable in a nuclear meltdown situation and so it seems does the UK politicians and hierarchy. 16 new nuclear power stations just waiting to go the way of Fukushima or Chernobyl. It’s okay though I have my second home in the south of France and we won’t even have to bother with the tidying up costs, just let the island sink. Lessons to be learned ffs. How patronising.

One might argue the lower and middle classes are going back to the Victorian era. If we ever truly left it when in comparison to wealth. The average person is now taxed nearly a quarter of their wage. Only to then go on and pay most of their income on fuel, food and the debt of a luxury or too.

The media are quite good at making us looking at the less fortunate as ”scrounging scum”. Not so long back I was one of those statistics living in a large family on benefits. I took the right path which unfortunately is very rare because so many other wrong paths out number the 1 good option. Partly deliberate in design If I were to add would my own opinion.

Wages need to rise and taxes need to drop, but now it seems 20 years or so of very high austerity is now here. Have you heard anything of “high austerity” from the media lately?

What the media are not talking about is generally what they are trying to avoid everyone seeing.

I hope you all have a healthy future and should you ever fall into a position of needing benefits it’s actually a system that is rewarding for those that need it and have paid into it, not the total demise and reduction of humanity the media want us to have.

I wonder if switching the standby coal power station on today as reported on the bbc news site has anything to do with this. If only we could burn some yin these power stations with less C02 than coal.

Holly. You may have something there, I think though they are pinning the latest purchase out of our profits as growth over divis when reading the RNS. I wouldn’t be surprised if they release a RNS saying all divis and back payments owed to the shareholders have been put towards growth as they seek to reward the ltsh for their patience in such a dismal performance since AHO got payed out on your behalf. PS a few extra thousand free shares go here, go there, go every fkn where except to the shareholders. Don’t worry once we start playing council authority on behalf of HmG things will become better for the ltsh or at least until we can pin a down turn in mortgages and a upturn in failure to pays as well as the problem we had on building on flood plains blah blah blah.

Anyhow mustn’t grumble. Onward and upward.

I’m holding here and have always held the harbinger of doom since AHO started with his policy of appeasement to everyone but the shareholder once he got his magic 63p target to unlock the banks (and HMG of the then state owned) contractual obligations. After he achieved his rewards the guy did nothing but fail the LTSH here. Well why don’t you sell up blah blah etc etc if your down on your investment I’m guessing is the next thing the glass half full investors are going to say.

So lloy being the ever driven forward by HMG policy of propping up the housing market is to purchase 50000 homes. Those conspiracy theorists who said you will own nothing and be happy got it slightly wrong. There will be people who own lloy shares who are also not going to be happy once the housing market comes crashing down.

I would hazard a guess inflationary issues are having the effect and not the RNS.

Me neither... thanks original.. it’s all due process to me. I’ve lived in Wales long enough to see the planning process in action. My own personal opinion. A few caveats and SAE can continue. Wales being the home of coal, steel,Iron,Slate etc was a major player at the beginning of the industrial revolution. It is nice primed to be at the forefront of the green revolution too if it gets this project mastered. I’m thinking part of the carbon cutting deal may include some tidal energy also at a fraction of the cost but none the less a profit to SAE.

Stroller. Mark my words the treasury already know our cash is there waiting for them. Our BOD are getting fatter by the minute on the whisperings going on behind closed doors. Meanwhile we struggle to get value for money. This share ihas to be ONE of the most absolutely dismal performing stocks out there. I hold because Im waiting for break even at the least will be 5 yrs at this rate of back door communism financial market manipulation. Does anybody here really have any idea this company owes its share holders? This share is the best example of collusion between Free market, HMG and the very many governing bodies that make the rules. All at the shareholders expense. Can’t wait to break even and get out of this sesspit.

I can name a a few hundred shares Pete myself. Flyb, sxx to name a few this is a gamble as is every share. What I say is what has happened with this SP. I’m not pumping and I’m not dumping. I’m holding and have been for quite sometime. I have witnessed the story so far and am just re-iterating what’s gone on here. It’s up to you how you choose to use that info as an individual investor. My battle is not with the small individual investor, my battle is with the II’s as is everyone’s. I’m not claiming to be a guru just informing new investors who are looking for a medium to long term prospect. I don’t like the Day or short traders as I personally believe they offer nothing to other prospects of improving British industry. Anyhow I’ve said my bit and laid out my position with honesty. I shall return to my quite hole and reserve the right to return next week with an I told you so on my double figure predictions. If not next week then the following as everything everyone says here and on every other forum is pure conjecture. ATB
