Why's the share price dropping to 0.3 funny? Weren't you one of those "rampers" you talk about?
Last Thursday:
"Yep, won't get the chance to buy at these (cheap) levels following an official RNS..."
Last Friday:
"RNS next week is going to be a great Christmas present to vast and its shareholders. 2019 is going to be our year imo...."
So 5 months on, we were supposed to get a high level audit done by Wardell Armstrong International within 3 months and I'm reading that RNS as they haven't actually started the audit and they aren't going to start for a while yet it seems.
Useless bod!
Excellent news if correct and as people have said Reuters are a quite reputable. Let's see.
Speculation of course, but if it is VAST and De Beers being offered the other 2 spots, could be a way of Zimbabwe saying sorry for the previous governments (Mugagbe) actions in turfing them off Marange. Telling the wider international community they are trying to make things right.
But let us wait and see what an official RNS states.
I was curious, so emailed Simon for a response (sent him across Kabisko's posts from Monday to today).
His response was:
Thanks for taking the time to put this together. The content is interesting but only as an exercise in analysing how wrong a rumour mill can be. As you would expect, I cannot confirm to you which parts are "right" or have some basis in truth/fact and which parts are wrong, whether by simple fact or by being interpreted in the wrong context. But I do suggest that given the content you've sent me, taken in aggregate I would change your pinch of salt to a cup full. There are plenty of fundamental errors in what these exchanges purport to be facts such that, if I started to explain everything, I would be writing a short book. I would also have the FCA all over me, so I cannot!
As the stock is now suspended, I suggest you simply have to wait to see what happens. I wouldn't burn any more energy on the bulletin boards if I were you.
Regards,
Simon
Ah, but if BoD tag along with us that's 5.
So, my 5 divided by your 4 is 1.25. Could be a share price, or could be a date 12/5 (US backwards date), which is today.
It's a sign? Big news? and no I don't mean the warrants conversion (at a premium fyi).
"2 companies to be announced soon are Gvt approved to explore & mine diamonds." Hopefully one of these are Red Mercury.
and this bodes well too "*Gvt may waiver the local ownership threshold subject to satisfactory submissions and due diligence"
Saw the word blogging and was trying to remember the banned poster who referred to posting on these sites as blogging. Always stuck with me as posting on here isn't blogging.
You mentioned him (yourself) on your first post on prem (Gavgreen) lol. Subtle!
"yes, I see 'imminent' placing coming. Nothing heard since August but such things always come first."
Well the company only started trading on AIM in September. The company raised £3.5m by placing via (effectively) an IPO and those funds will last some time. What would a placing be for? and why would they need to do one?
But tbf, I do hate the word imminent now; the word needs to be scrubbed from existence.
AP has definitely added value, it's just it's not reflected in the share price (as we can all see and all get frustrated about).
He's bought us
1. Eureka (funded by PP profits and should be producing next year)
2. BP (producing next year)
3. New equipment in Rom (trucks), to be delivered next year
4. Blueberry (to be IPO next year)
5. Diamonds (hopefully producing next year)
6. A great offtake agreement for Rom assets (hopefully T2 next week)
7. Anything else I missed
lol hit a nerve with me? I'm assuming you mean me? Why would a nerve be hit? If you posted, you obviously wanted a reply, so gave you one. So :)
1. Why should he resign (only want your opinion of course)
2. Who would you have come in (in your opinion of course)
3. Why would he take a P45 (he doesn't live in the UK)
4. What does this bit mean "At what price I am not sure .40p? .35p?"
Your response sounds like I hit a nerve :( Sorry if I upset you :)
Except we can't really have a proper discussion on the matter until we have all of the facts, such as what fair value will be placed on the assets, what dilution will that fair value entail.
What if AP said he'd give VAST his % of the assets for £100k?
"Welshie - Yes we do get diluted if he exercises his options. If it goes badly for VAST, he won't bother, if it's good you can be certain he will because it's beneficial to him."
Yes, but you said we get less through dilution, which is not the case. We can only go by what's in the public domain and that is AP want's to align himself with the shareholders by converting his % in to top company shares. We are not getting nothing for dilution.
What would go badly for VAST? If the assets go badly for VAST then they will go badly for AP as he has a % of the same assets. He would actually be more inclined to want VAST shares in that case as they are more liquid than holding a % of those assets.
Anyway, IMO only, I don't think that this will be an issue for a while yet.
"Why should we get less through dilution"
That's not really correct though is it. He's not wanting to take shares in VAST in return for nothing to us. He would effectively be selling us his stake in the various projects he gave VAST at a fair value.
So instead of 90% profits in BP, we get 100% profits in BP (although I think the 10% BP is split between AP and other board members?).
"he certainly is missing the plot with these irrelevant RNS updates that have no meaning whatsoever until VAST can prove they can fund anything."
Why's it irrelevant? AP needs to keep the market updated, we need to do drilling on the licences this quarter, so he has to advise the market it has started.
"AP is starting to remind me of Neil Ritson once of LGO and SOLO where the promises looked genuine but the funding never actually hit the mark and it was dilution after dilution until consolidation but never hit the value shareholders thought. Just starting to look like AP has fukd up Im thinking with timelines and targets and will fail to win shareholders over ever again if the quarterlies are indeed average."
Why would they be average?
"If we are still waiting for those cost cutting lorries and equipment why? "
Because there is a 6 month lead time, they can't just pop down the road and pick one up of a forecourt. So as the company has previously stated, they expect deliveries to commence in early 2019.
"Where's the T2?"
In Mercuria bank account I assume. It will be in VASTs soon IMO.
"Whats the big deal about the diamonds he smirked about in last video that the market seemingly doesnt know about."
He yawned the other day, what's that about? We'll find out about diamonds when the company tells us about it.
"Its all a bit smoke and mirrors now I reckon and 0.43 as I predicted will be soon hit and blown away if Manaila is still just b/e and funding delayed. Of course VAST will never get another mining licence again in Rom if they screw up with BP after finally getting that licence."
Very positive of you :)
"And you do have to wonder where the long term stalwarts/shareholders of VAST are now hiding or just gone."
Why do you care where they are, I'm not bothered.
