I feel like we've discovered a cache of old paintings in a, previously unknown, dusty attic of an old priory.

The man from Christies has said they may be interesting, but difficult to tell in their condition.

All sent to be cleaned/restored - the restorer keeps updating us with titbits. He doesn't quite know yet what it is, a Rembrandt maybe, but unsure. He has his team starting to look at the other canvases too, but this will take a little longer yet.

Still haven't bothered to check the correct spelling of his name, I see!

And there is always the one leader that, when the chips are down, screams Me first, America First, MAGA and walks away from commitments.......

Now that would never happen, right?

Seriously, I can see WHO holding stockpiles for less developed countries - but we are a long way off that sort of thing being negotiated.

I really don't see any problem here. I'm happy for our BOD to have the tools they need for the job.

In the past GGP has negotiated drilling with part payment in shares. It worked then, and would work again if needed. We are operating in a fast developing area in WA and our BOD needs to be nimble to pick up opportunities as and when that arise (We now have Ruddall and the newer Tabletop prospects). If they need to pick up another asset with part or full payment in shares, they need to be able to do this. As a responsible BOD they will not just give away shares, that would be stupid in the extreme.

Beware, though, this does give the derampers fodder to spread disinformation and mistrust!

In case some of you can't quite make sense of the images, don't forget that this is in the southern hemisphere.

That may sound obvious, but the shadows will be the opposite to what many of us are used to! With the sun being north of Hav, the darker patch in the box cut is likely to be a shadow from the northern face. Gives quite a good idea of how deep hey have gone already.......

Covid has enabled SNG to condense at least 5 years of trials into one. Once all trials are sorted and SNG001 is in use, it's much easier to re-purpose for COPD (and others).

When Hav is in full production and dividends are being paid, I'll take another view. Until then I'll keep buying as and when I can and it makes sense.

I, basically, have baked in a happy retirement. So, no. I didn't sell any at 37 - that would have been silly at the time.

I've never sold at a top. I've never bought at the bottom. God knows I've tried, but it doesn't work that way.

If only I had Freddie's hindsight investment skills, I'd be living it up on my own tropical island!

No guessing here - that would be a silly way to invest.

Proper research works much better.

The gold is still there.
65,000m of step out drilling being done.
Infill drilling for the inferred resource done.
NCM working at warp speed.
Box cut well under way.
Juri JV drilling starting.
etc. etc. etc.

Fundamentals - this will rebound. The gold won't evaporate while sentiment does.

It is part and parcel of running a company properly.

You need to speak to the movers and shakers in the corporate world and keep them up to date on the company's prospects, plans, assets etc.

At some point you may need to go to the market to raise capital (Say if Ruddall hits big and we need to develop it all ourselves), it's much easier if you have critical number of analysts with the correct data to start with.

This should also feed through to overall share value and MCAP which not only helps PIs, but adds value to the capital requirement equasion.

IMO essential for a company such as GGP which may well need funding for explosive growth...

That's funding in all senses, not just share issues (before the 'but the dilution' brigrade get upset).

This is simply the normal treasury functions of their finance director. Simply servicing their debt in accordance with the redemption date(s).

It certainly makes sense being in a JV with a major company such as NCM. Their knowledge and expertise would take way too long to for us to pick up!

This sort of madness doesn't help either:

What it does show is the expected increase in other (non Covid) infections:

Interesting, the reactions where Covid has been before. I am told that the second jab doesn't have worse side effects than the first, so the stronger reactions from previous covid infections would seem to be different.

Perhaps its something like your immune system is saying, 'I've seen something very similar to this, and don't like it. I'll hit it hard and fast, then'?

Whereas the exact same 'virus' is more of a 'ahah, you're back. we know how to deal with you' reaction....
