As we know, the best way to combat a virus is a little social distance, and put on a mask (don't respond)!

It is difficult to say, basically unpredictable. I think the best advice would be to expect some volatility for a few days. That is, of course, assuming no substantive RNS drops to change things.

We will now be on the radar of other IIs and there may well be more good sized orders to come. It remains to be seen how big they are and how they are managed. So there could be sustained buying, or there could be some more managed buying - who knows.

For me, I've pencilled in a likely 25p floor, with no idea of the upside. I'll look for the dips if I can find a little extra cash, otherwise I'm just a lurker - watch and wait.

My read is that the situation has overrun both the initial expectations as well as the paperwork for both parties. In a massively good way, of course.

Now I'm sure both sides are pretty busy atm, but It would not be a surprise if we get a RNS sometime with a complete renegotiation. Probably negating the remainder of the Farm-in and moving straight into a full JV. Most likely to be around, or soon after the MRE.

Pure specualtion, of course - but that's what I would work towards.

The question posed comes from a narrow focus on GGP. What you need to do is take a mental leap from GGP to NCM and look at it all from their viewpoint!

NCM has much more than just Hav to consider, the capital requirements of all their other projects need to be considered and available funds allocated (Having been discussed/approved at board level). Hav is basically sorted. They have a path to 75% ownership at a very good ROI. They don't NEED to expend more at the moment, there are better uses for their capital - Cadia, Red Chris etc (even Solg!).

Besides, for Hav, they need to nurture the Farm-in and crystallise the JV agreement when this is possible. This needs to be done to maintain their first refusal on other GGP prospects.

Basically pull back on your zoom lens and look at the bigger picture.

What speaks volumes to me is the impressive reduction in the timeline. For a company to devote the time, manpower, and investment into an acceleration this far past contractual obligations demonstrates a strong belief in the true value. They know, we will eventually (MRE time?).

@bully, in the grand scheme of things the cost of a road is nothing to fret about.

Things have moved ahead faster than the Farm-in agreement was set up for! It should result in a PFS, then a decision to mine, all leading to a JV agreement. It looks like events have overtaken the paper, so various mining related items could be regarded as negotiable.

My guess is that NCM will fund this and any clawback will be sorted out at the JV stage. In any event I doubt that any of this will present a problem as we have a good working relationship and a willingness on both sides to progress asap.

Must say I now massively more confident. To look at the assault of de-ramps we had, someone or some people seem intent forcing a price reduction. They threw so much 'stuff' at the fan, but it all falls short in my opinion. I hope they were wearing gloves, as otherwise all they will have for their efforts is smelly fingers!

For quite a while, now, I've had NCM pencilled in as a takeover target. Barrick is a potential bidder, but I would expect Rio to win out. Which is why the SB/Rio connection makes things interesting.
