Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
That'll be the DFS @ 5eights - along with the DTM (of course).
our ASX listing brought forward (in case we need room to play)? possible.
Updated MRE from GGP - unlikely.
Updated MRE from NCM - possible.
DFS released by NCM - possible.
Competing bid for NCM from a.n.other - highly possible.
NCM puts up Telfer - Havieron in a fire sale to raise cash - possible.
lots more that may well happen!
So many ways this can pan out....
Just happy we have the right team in place (and the right IIs in play) to take advantage.
There's always the possibility of an much larger JV spin off company owned by GGP and the new owner of NCM (at what spit?) to manage HAV, Telfer and all the prior NCM JVs in the area. Now that would be a nice asset for our team to get their claws into.
The cards have been shuffled - but not yet fully dealt!
Their 'to do' list:
1) Check the HAV JV paperwork, particular attention re change of control provisions.
2) Check Juri JV re the same.
3) Explore with Wyloo re potential funding for anything that may be needed if control clauses work in our favour.
4) draw up outline business plan if HAV regained in full (you never know your luck).
5) check tolling provisions (for HAV), will they survive a change in control.
etc.
etc.
etc.
Yup, busy week for all GGP top bods...
Business as usual for us (as expected).
Thunderbird moment for NCM - "anything can happen in the next......."
Happy Falcon (very happy).
'One trick pony'?
Neat trick, though. Making elephants disappear is so old hat, now. GGP is in elephant country making them all reappear!
Is HAV the big bull elephant (leader of the herd) or is he still to be revealed....
So cheap atm......

"Government promises robust crypto regulation" Interesting.
Will this work to stabilise and give some sort of true value to crypto? It may bolster the 'better than gold' faction, but the purists will not like any kind of financial regulation/oversight!
What is likely is that proper regulation will bring crypto within he normal taxation (collection and oversight) and may make the criminal use (ransomware etc.) less viable.
There could be hidden benefits for us mere mortals, true financial regulation may allow us to hold/trade crypto assets within our ISAs and/or SIPPs (assuming mainstream brokers offer facilities - besides they are the people with compliance experience and systems).
Food for the little grey cells whilst we wait for the DFS......
You may have missed the point...
Maybe, just maybe this is another breadcrumb leading up to the 23rd? Perhaps a wake up shot at uk based funds to make sure they don't miss attending.
The data will out when ready / planned / best effect......
Tick Tock, Tick Tock.......
Please stop posting poorly researched 'click bait' from MF. It really has no relation to reality and is only there to gain traffic for their website.
If only you knew how stupid you look and how easily you are being used.....
By 'finish' you imply that the contractors will pack up their bags and go home.
There is no finish in sight, the full FS should reveal when first ore is expected at Telfer and what the ongoing mine plan is.
So it could be some time in 2023 ish maybe....
All good. Happy Falcon.
I follow the instructions on my washing tabs' box. "Keep away from children" it says. Best advice available IMO.
Ah.... but will she include the good news with other announcements (drill results, half year figures) so the effect is diluted somewhat?
Or will she want to champion the good news on it's own to gain best effect?
If so what would be the best timing?
Toss your coin and take your choice.....
And then there are Junior ISAs and Lifetime ISAs..... These as well?
Encouraging people to save and then pulling the rug is not a good political move.
Good question, the simple answer is nobody knows.
It may be a little too early yet.
They could wait until their half year figures are published (around 17th Feb, I believe).
They may want to put it out on it's own to make sure it gets noticed rather than lost in amongst other information.
But then again, there has been a change in management, the new girl may have more immediate priorities or may want to make sure it's a blockbuster.
Anyone's guess is just as good as the next one...... Mine, mid/end of march.
Green hydrogen development is coming along. I read somewhere about a scheme using excess wind power offshore, but this is still in it's infancy.
Ultimately fuel cell technology will likely win out, but this repurposing of existing diesel engines is one to watch imo. All the heavy plant and equipment with many years of life left can be adapted and stay in use without the extensive capital costs needed to replace whole fleets with fuel cell replacements.
as you say @Bamps, a game changer.....
An interesting article on hydrogen / diesel engines in Australia:

"The race to make diesel engines run on hydrogen"
Not just 'green', but an 85% reduction in co2 makes underground mining a whole lot easier too.
He'll probably reform into RETRY.....See what did there? see? giggles.
Dancing.
I'm here. Well I'm hiding behind the sofa peeping over the top looking out for mega news.......
