Echo the comments on the toxicity. I’m a UOG long-termer. Been here for years and willing to wait years more as I have faith in the board.

We’ve had ramping, de-ramping and cross-ramping to companies that are totally different in ethics and prospects to UOG.

My view is that Maria is a bit of a side show: nice bit of cash if it comes and of course the deal should be honoured, but some seem to try to make out its UOG’s main asset. What rubbish!

Focus is on Egypt (currently producing) and Jamaica (which is exciting but speculative and long-term). I wouldn’t put it past the Board to try to introduce a new mid-term producing asset.

Anyway, good luck to all genuine UOG investors

I’m no trader but have been invested here for years and know there’s a tendency for shares kept on downward pressure to spring up dramatically. Consolidation on they way up is no surprise, but looking at the trades I’d guess we could be blue by close? No drama if not, but would be super encouraging if we could have our ‘breather’ in the space of one trading day!

Well as a long-termer I can say this is the start of what I’ve been waiting for. Will review position north of 10p. Selling now is like getting off the train before it’s left the station

May slow the rise, but I don’t think many will have held UOG on a spreadbet over the years of stagnation. Would not expect a material impact here. It’s not a pump & dump stock. More like two years of reving the handles, ready to set off (I hope!)

Looks like someone dumped £10k on the bell. Against a great RNS. Obvs being manipulated but I don’t know why. Still, more opportunity to top up.

I read it as BMV have made an offer & Southern Gold are playing hard ball. Could take a while if they are in no rush.

I’d be disappointed in a dividend. Go to RDSA or BP for that. I think the UOG team will have plenty they want to do with profits. New investments, progress Jamaica etc. Plenty of opportunities for grow for a cash generative company.

Phew! Just a routine one. I’d hate more good news right now as the share price seems inversely proportionate to it. In for the long hall but I’d like to see it better reflect the great job the Board are doing.

Yes, having been here for a few years now, I’m loving the new positivity and talk of 20p, 30p etc, but as someone who has stuck with this company and averaged down over several months, I’ll be very happy with hitting 4p first on the way up!

Best oil play on AIM

Tiz a funny old game: my worst faller today (volume isn’t massive and seems overdone on that front alone) but fundamentally one of the best of the bunch re insulation against the low oil price. Just wish I had more free funds available.

Boggles the mind. I’ve topped up again. I fear I’ve missed some fatal bit of information, but don’t think so.

Last UOG RNS said “spud shortly”. You have to read down a bit to find it. Not sure when “shortly” is but you’d guess a week or two, then add the drill time.
