a sub £3 bp is cheap as chips, if you dont need the cash I'd hold off selling there is still loads of value up to 350p+ judging on last years post lockdown recovery

Agree - market finally realising bp are a value play not a value trap... MM are now scrambling to broker deals which is why price is aggressively rising today.. only the big boys move this blue chip

Stay strong on bp even though US open may drag this down. LTH are now being rewarded with the gains we expected.... plenty of room left to run and I myself am already 10% up... PLENTY of beer money coming my way for when the pubs open...

Wow reviewing the board seems like I sparked a discussion on the value of TA.. all you need to know is brent is near $66 which means oil majors are a cash flow machine... this is an income stock which means LTH... if you believe in growth of the SP over a long period then remove yourself from the entry point discussion and take emotion out of it...

Thanks - the options were a great move by bernard to involve everyone at every level, whilst its more of a loyalty play for the middle management layer (where the work gets done) after a year of disruption it'll be a nice bonus is 2025...

Sincerely hope you're right on the 600p comment.... I work for bp and have a no risk 249p option price of 3.6k shares in 2023... this would mean more than doubling my return....

Good Morning All... another slow week predicted for the bp stock but don't fear... forget about your investment and come back in the summer... market conditions favorable to OM's now w/ supply restriction and opening up of economies... currently holding a 265 average and will be selling at 330 to explore other avenues... maybe I'll get the Q2 divi which will be a bonus... keep your head and top up on the dips if you can lower your average... simple mafs.. good week all

I think the days of 250p are behind us... but topping up if it dips to mid 260's is still amazing value... set your buy orders and if it executes it executes... if not still sit back and wait for £3+ once lockdown is lifted... will treat myself to a nice bit of sushi with the divi in the meantime

Calls to sell now and average down are crazy, this is a LTH upto £3.50+ why take the risk for the sake of 10p or so.. screw your head on!

Looks like you are truly living up to your user name... why would you top up before an anticipated peak oil announcement from shell? you literally had to wait 3 hours for negative market sentiment temporarily depressing prices

Absolutely, this is an income stock, so stick 5k in now, pick up the £75 dividend and hold for 6/12months for capital appreciation

it was only last week people where saying this is going back down to 230p/200p... get real... oil price is up.... forecast to remain strong due to supply crunch... we certainly might dip back to 250 but its established a firm base.... for those who didnt get in you still can...currently got £4k at an average of 265... might be the easiest money I've ever earnt in 3 months time...

The posts here are jokes, people angry the stock has negative sentiment around it, this is what is creating the value, forget about your position and hold if you're mad, if you're not average down, this is a blue chip stock and is being kept down by the big boys and will explode when they want it too
