Hi System,
I'll not be doubling up here. I've got plenty already.
What about you?
What are you expecting an update about?
Techno... There is no need to apologise for posting your thoughts/position.
Hi Silversprings,
My view towards the betting angle is positive. To me, NFTs haven't worked so far (although I still believe they can).
Betting is a much more tried and tested product. The fact that MOS is a minority shareholder in EstadioBET is probably going to work in our favour. We need to see how it all pans out but expecting at least a beta product/platform by the middle of Q2, and quite possibly earlier. Once launched, some clever marketing required to get people to switch from their current betting platform to EstadioBET. But hard to put a price on the free advertising that will come with Estadio Media.
Down the line, cross selling of NFTs, betting, live scores, Estadio Media, football club partners etc etc.
The potential is there. The risks are also there.
Just been catching up here this morning. A lot of posts that I have missed.
For the very little that it is worth, I'm pretty confident that Techno is neither John or Mark. I think he is simply what he says he is....a new investor. Which is a rare thing in MOS these days.
Unfortunately somebody dumped 10m this morning.
Nobody should be relying on anything said in here when it comes to investing.
I saw a comment a while ago about somebody losing their pension because of what was being posted on here. That can only be described as madness.
I can see people trading this share from these levels. Nothing wrong with that.
I would like to think everyone on here would want MOS to succeed..... Otherwise, what is the point?
The way the SP is now there is limited downside. It is pretty much priced to fail. The upside, though still risky, is significant. And I agree with others, we need BET to deliver.
The raise from investors was, from my point of view, frustrating. I use HL, had money available to use in my SIPP, but HL would not get involved in the raise. Not sure if that was purely HL's fault, or if MOS could have handled it better. Also not sure how much more could have been raised if HL had engaged - would it have made much overall difference?
Hi Lostmoney,
I don't disagree with much of what you posted earlier. EstadioBET is the best opportunity. The NFTs have not gone well (in my opinion) so far.
I'm obviously keen for MOS to kick on from here. I'm more confident than you but nothing is a certainty either way.
Hi Techno.
Well done on the timing and entry point of your investment. Nothing is ever a sure thing but at least you are in super low.
I think we are all hopeful re the betting angle.... It is a much more proven industry. And it should help raise awareness re Livescores/NFTs/gaming if done well.
Perhaps MOS being a minority investor in Estadio/EstadioBET etc will be beneficial going forward.... Some well regarded and experienced people involved in this new venture.
One of us is right, one of us is wrong. Probably. Time will tell.
I believe he also remains confident
I wish!
LSE having a senior moment lol
I think it is fair to say that India/Jio never really got going lol.
Ah the best, Dave
Hi Guzzler,
You could well be right about it being 0.16 initially. From memory I bought in at 0.11 pre suspension. It all seems so long ago now.
Re the future, nothing is guaranteed either way. I'm fairly confident. I think it is reasonable to conclude that you are a tad sceptical lol.
However, the way the SP is at the moment, it won't take much to have significant northward movement.... Similar to what happened in late summer/ early autumn.
Good opportunity for a trade at the very least.
All the best, Dave
Hi Lostmoney,
I appreciate your comments re the challenges ahead. My brief thoughts:-
1. The fact that MOS is a minority partner may well be a good thing. (That irony is not lost to me).
2. The marketing budget does not have to be huge as Estadio BET will have effectively free access to advertising on radio etc via the rest of the Estadio group. Even if that limits the advertising to "only" 25 million "listeners" that will be enough.
3. The tighter regulation in the UK has not exactly had the William Hills of this world running for cover. (Other betting institutions are available - I'm not trying to push William Hill)
4. Will BET be able to offer free bets etc? Who knows. My limited knowledge of that in the UK is that there are usually significant conditions regarding these free bets. I confess I am not much of a betting man, apart from the grand national, and again, irony side, MOS and other shares that I hold.
All the best, Dave.
Hi Guzzler,
Good to see you are still here.
You say "reverse 12 bagger", however to be fair, that has to be seen in the context of the 6 bagger that came before.
Is the SP on its knees? Absolutely.
Has there been "mistakes"? Absolutely.
However, we are where we are. I continue to hold and even top up based on what is to come. Estadio, particularly BET, offers huge potential- just my view. An initial small percentage of the Mexican gambling market will be enough. Long term, the world is your lobster.
All the best, Dave
