Charles Jillings, CEO of Utilico, energized by strong economic momentum across Latin America. Watch the video here.
What a massive market overreaction this has been today. Good old April 1st.
Yeah I agree.
Solely based in speculation but it does feel a bit like the Russians were giving it to Eurasia to end up in the hands of NN. Certainly looks better on their part giving it to Eurasia over a mammoth like NN with the difficulties NN have had this year. And it would certainly be politically unusual if any of these Russian resources went to a non-Russian company.
Again, pure speculation but to me it does seem like NN are the most probable buyers.
Wouldn't be surprised if it jumps back up to 35p right on close
We must be getting another RNS explaining how this pertains to the company/asset sale...
Just got 1m on HL at 0.26
'The Company is delivering on a phased expansion with careful and minimal capital outlay at a fully de-risked low cost PGM mining asset, quite unique globally being the largest of its kind.'
Could it be more likely $15bn for multiple transactions rather than all for EUA? I understand ARCM are already in talks with AA so perhaps a slice of the pie for them (and then the rest for EUA hopefully)
Where else are fellow Eurasiers invested? Just filled up this year's ISA and looking for recommendations.
Would anyone care to share an oversimplified version of the story of Sable Mining? What happened and where the shares are going? I bought a very small amount shortly before they lost value and since they have transferred out of my HL Stocks and Shares ISA to become Consolidated Growth Holdings.
It was such a small amount that I simply wrote it off and didn't look into it much further. But check in on this board every so often and am intrigued to know what the heck is going on?
I don't believe I've put a date in the hat yet. Ian please put me down for March 14th.
Are people forgetting they told us last week they have multiple offers on the table?
8.5 is officially my least favourite number (unless the company sells for 8.5 billion that is)
Just wondering - does anyone have examples of previous company takeovers of a similar scale to compare the kind of timeframes from hoisting the for sale sign to getting an offer to completing the deal?
Obvioulsy timeframes can differ greatly but might be helpful to those of us who getting impatient.
I've been a longterm investor in SEE since around November 2013. I've had massive belief in the company and from back in 2013 my goal was to hold to 2021 and believed something substantial would have happened to the company in that time.
But here we are 7 years later and the price is still about the same levels so my belief is beginning to dwindle.
I still believe the company have fantastic tech and with the EU and NHTSA's mandate for DMS technology this should be going places. However this isn't being reflected in the share price.
Over the 7 years I've experienced a company who don't seem to be bothered with keeping shareholders happy. Deals are done in the background, announced, and then sort of forgotten about by the market due to bad PR.
As an investor, I admit I've not played this company well. I believed this was a company to hold on to but am massively kicking myself that I didn't sell in the spike of June 2018 as I believe it will be another 4 or 5 years before we see those levels again. Though, of course, I hope I'm wrong. But I'm now at a point where I need to consider that my money may be better put elsewhere than in a stock that seems to eternally sit between 2-5p.
Apologises in advance for the disgruntled rant from a disgrunted investor.
So is the concensus with this rise that there is a deal being formulated or is close to completion in the background?
1p for me. Sat around 0.5p for years and I was waiting for it to get back to 1p to get out and into something else. Boy am I glad I'm still here...
Plenty of buys rolling in. Of course, not surprising at these prices...
What's the status with the flanks license? Is it still being processed or is it soon to be announced?
Wendy Dent again. Another bid?
