Repsol don't do leaks. Wait for real news or get out. For me the longer the wait the more chance of success. With lots of oil strikes very close recently it should increase the likelihood of a good RNS. Hope this area is similar to the Kurdistan oil fields. GL

As has been reiterated, the longer we wait the better the likelihood of good news. Its easy to say duster but much more detail and time is needed for wire logging etc.. By my calcs they have been drilling and assessing the well for 2 months now.

I will take my chances and invest what I am happy with. Still . Good investment at this price, the BOPD, and all the POO too :-)

Its a top up in the morning if no news. I do think the longer the wait the more chance of oil find. dusters should be relatively quick to assess. Wire logging will take longer. GL Of course depends on the delays.

Fair point , My average is far lower than most and therefore I am willing to take the risk. Its not the mortgage or kids Xmas presents so I will wait it out. GL though and caution is needed.

Its not a binary bet. Tullow have loads of other assets and are producing a large amount of oil already. Yes it will affect the share price but not as much as some would have you believe. Failure is more priced in than success with less than 50% chance. The market knows this and has to some extent priced that in. IMO..

Would that be referring too " not the sharpest tool" or the "peni5" shaped object ? :-)

The more optimistic I am that we have a commercially viable find. I will top up before the weekend and hope we get good news next week. GL. Its still a great buy at this price IMO.

I remain a holder. If its good enough for him. Then its good enough for me. Hope he has a bit of insider info regarding oil strikes. Sounds like a man in the know when it comes to Africa and oil.

Wildcat drilling is never a forgone conclusion. In Fact its risky and why Tullow only have less than 50% with Repsol taking the lead.
