Stocksbof. My sentiment exactly. I am sure they have spent longer on due diligence than any of us !
I think nearer 30p by COP Friday with a few ups and down. That doubles MCAP to say 100 million. As has been said the buy in for 49% was assuming MCap of about 140 million and they will want a profit ie, that was a discount price. A bit of patience and money could treble from here in a relatively short time.
yuri, read RNS “The Group recognised a £169.2m impairment charge, reflecting current business performance and challenging trading conditions, an increased discount rate associated with higher gearing and a more prudent assessment of medium and long term forecast profitability." Hmmm......
Read the RNS “The Company concluded the transaction with DBAY that was approved by shareholders in December 2019, resulting in a new ownership structure under which the Company holds a 49% interest in the Eddie Stobart group. Shareholders have the opportunity to participate in the future growth in value of the Eddie Stobart group.
· This transaction provided £70m of additional liquidity, putting the Eddie Stobart group on a stable footing and providing a platform from which to develop. “
Shareholders arent getting wiped out. Buy and hold at least until a proper bounce IMO.
I have dipped my toes in here based on this drop. The valuation ( MCap) alone is too good to be true, or is it ?
Yep. Its really hard to buy. Took three attempts to top up. Shaking this down like rockhopper many moons ago. Might even reach new highs today. You can never tell. Holding till real news.
Drilling money in place and no dilution for funding. Possible farm in and rig news imminent. Billion + barrels of oil potential and seismics look very promising with multiple layers to drill through. Great place to be atm. GL
3 days at 15% rise next week would put us at 7p. We will start to hear rumours probably next week and then this could go anywhere. Those that held for years I congratulate you. I am happy coming in a bit late and not waiting the 10 years however!
Just under 2 billion pound company . Like Dana petroleum ( 1,7 billion MCap ) :-). We can all dream at the weekend !
Dana petroleum... thats the dream !
You would have to bet on another strong finish today with all the news flow coming. Most of which will re rate the share price.
My favourite line " minimising the dilution to shareholders " . Thats music to my ears for an AIM company !
Looks like FOMO is kicking in here. Nice to have a position albeit a small one atm. No sign of selling pressure at this price.
Oopppps.... chunk :-/
This drill is going to push the price up pre spud, on spud and near drill news. I believe there is a lot of oil down there as do BOD. I just hope its commercial. Hold, top up, hold is my tactic here. Building a nice chink ( for me) of shares here but not betting the mortgage. GL especially the very very patient LTH's.
ENI with 79 billion turnover. That will do :-)
De risked and lots of potential . Its always a gamble to find commercial oil but not like a wildcat drill in the middle of nowhere. GL all. IMO.
OK.. great so drilling on the way. Leaks and oil guys from Scotland ...in Kazakstan, you know who you are ( they have mates in Bahamas ) say there is lots of oil down there. Hope its true !
Is this just hearsay until RNS or any real news out there ? Just asking cos its got great potential here !
