I cant say I am up to speed with the tech and make way to your superior knowledge jimmy socks but a projection of how quickly revenues might increase from now on would be useful, since mr draper has hired extra staff because of demand[we hope] and we know what revenue they took second half 19 what your assessment
Hi Grimaldi if only ,intrepidinvestor posted a balanced post about where we are and where we need to be financially ,at the moment our cost of sales does look high at around 75% means we only end up with %25 of gross revenue as profit and on top of that our overheads are over 5 million look at bidstacks year end accounts on their web site page 27 consolidated statement of income a good place to look at the basics ,i imagine we will need 3x that figure ,we need to see where we are with c.o.s and overhead costs ,we need projections for growth ,lets hope JD has grown the workforce to cope with the extra demand and the revenue has taken off, if not I feel it will be rocky to be honest ,lets hope for the best.
Thanks intrepid i think that is a fair picture of where we are and where we need to be, would around 25mill annual revenue be break even, i cant really see the cost of sales will change much might be wrong but how much of the overheads is one off items do you think or is it all staff and associated staff costs eg offices
Intrepidinvestor year end 18 and 19 cost of sales were 76% from accounts we havent had full year end 31dec accounts where did get the figure of 79% agree with what you say overheads which you can calculate roughly would be around 6.50mill year end dec20 since revenue was second half weighted that has made the loss look worse as overheads increased this year by 1.3mill if the overheads settle down this year they need to!!, what level of revenue growth do you think we will need to see this year ?
ronaldtrump would agree with you if their revenue was zero but their revenue last year was second half weighted at around 1.5 mill even if their revenue is flat this year plus cash in the bank ,with the cash burn they have around until september i suspect, we all need to wait until we have some figures from the company for revenue going forward before we raise the white flag
who knows ,didnt think we would see this price again! but stick to the fundamentals , dont be influenced by what people say on these boards ,revenue was second half weighted ,draper doesnt need funds not until later in the year and only if revenue doesnt increase, we will know where we are headed later in the year listen to voxmarket podcast today
calm down chaps I hold both companies, bids exceeded expectations at 1.7 mill rev, loss was always going to be larger as staff has expanded to 69 ,they will have to get more funding and shareholders will be diluted but what they need is revenue growth this year if they achieve the same growth this year as last it will look very different even half would be fine , I personally think all these companies are not seeing the revenue growth they expected as advertisers have reined back, but when we are through covid hopefully things will get back to some form of normality
As a company director myself yes this is embarrassing, I take it its a failure to submit a annual conformation statement? nothing worse? a genuine oversight but surprised as reminders would of been sent out to up to four nominated recipients and one would definitely should of been the their accountant!,i am sure it will not happen again! still happy to keep invested here the company has been turned around and actually making money so future looking bright good luck to you all
I am sure some people here are also invested in mirriad advertising their December webcam is worth a look, gaming was one area they were looking at maybe further down the line ceo mentioned bidstack as a name known to him, since mirriad have not even started developing software is it possible they could collaborate to mutually benefit each over, just a thought
agree with a lot you say it took me a while to get my head around the number of suitable games to place adverts in but francesco petruzzelli article more advertisers will get gaming in 2020 in the drum is worth a read ,any thoughts on whether you would buy more mirriad at this level and a happy christmas to you
wouldnt dispute a lot you say Bolgas but dont under estimate the attraction of advertisers to have access to the younger generation gamers they dont watch traditional media they are either gaming or watching gamers gaming!!although the average gamer is 33!!and just under half are women!!
gaming worth $128billion/year
3.1 billion gamers ,audience larger than the film and music industry combined
spending $175billon/year
source the drum 2 December 2020
latest update on bids was they were on track to exceed market expectations alan green agrees see latest vox market podcast that revenue was expected to be 1.5 mill for the year lets wait as you say for the conformation early next year but revenue year ending 2019 was 140k !! so i think you will find that quite a bit!! around 1000%increase in revenue ,look i think if bids model does well mirriad with multiple revenue streams will be mega
Agree bonga, fed up with people over reacting to price movements in these types of share always volatile, revenue will be the driver of the share price next year when we have confirmed figures, if they are correct bids is definitely undervalued to others just have a look at mirriad advertising from an investors point i look at drops to pick up a few more
Thankyou good points made, it is always hard to value companies at this stage you do need a leap of faith sometimes until the revenue has caught up with the valuation ,bidstack was a prime example where it was over hyped by draper because he thought he had a deal done and people paid well over the odds ,now they have revenue increasing the share price next year will rise next year to account for that and imagine it will be the same for mirriad, any thoughts on when they might start making a profit some say around 3 years
Thanks I have listened to that presentation , the model could be very exciting bidstack seem to be starting to generate income ,and increasing income quickly from just the gaming ad side so with this model with multiple income streams it could be a very good investment 'would expect it to scale up quickly now if they know how to sell!!.It was interesting that in bids last update draper talked about other business opportunities ,and stephan in theirs are looking at the gaming ad side ,mentioned bidstack ,is there any way they could collaborate , or am i barking up the wrong tree?
Hi all recently bought small stake in this company after research and looking at the september update, but puzzled that after stephan and david said the previous raises were to fund the development of the software and now no more expenditure was needed to fund any capital expenditure requirements, they said it was just about scaling up the business, growing the income stream ,why have they had to raise such a large amount of money again ,i am also surprised that the revenue stream hasnt grown faster i have an investment in bidstack and draper has grown revenue from H1 380k to second half over 1.2 million ,any thoughts please
